Assembly Instructions
- Use sandpaper to remove residual paint from the lower right corner of the enclosure (inside) to ensure electrical contact.
- Insert the LED dome into the enclosure.
- Install the tube.
- Add a metal washer to the footswitch.
- Insert the circuit board assembly into the enclosure.
- Add jack washers and nuts to the sides. Tighten them securely.
- Add a plastic washer and nut to the footswitch. Tighten them securely.
- Add the bottom cover and screws. Tighten them securely.

Description
TUBEKLØN is the world’s first tube-based mythical beast overdrive pedal
interpretation. After deconstructing the classic design, the minimum gain flat
bandwidth feature was removed, instead offering up that sweet midrange boost
as the new minimum gain tone. Based on my NEOKLØN architecture, the
diode/opamp clipping stage was replaced by a triode, as was the summing stage,
which now drives a passive tilt style tone control. The entire circuit is
recreated using five transistors, two triodes, and zero opamps. Tonality is
same as the original, except at high gain, where you get real tube breakup and
sag instead of opamp clipping.
This kit contains a fully assembled and tested circuit board, tube, and
enclosure; you only need to perform final assembly, placing items into
enclosure and buttoning up.

Kit
Included with your kit should be a small piece of sandpaper and a nut wrench.
If you have a spare (unpowered) 9V power plug, use it to help center circuit
board once installed into enclosure.
Assembly
- Use sandpaper to remove residual paint from the lower right corner of enclosure (inside) such that ground clip near footswitch will make electrical contact.
- Insert LED dome into enclosure.
- Install tube.
- Add metal washer to footswitch.
- Insert circuit board assembly into enclosure.
- Add jack washers & nuts to the sides. Tighten.
- Add plastic washer & nut to footswitch. Tighten.
- Add bottom cover & screws. Tighten.
