| Remove the ENGINE-BATTERY group from the E-BIKE

| Some Ebike models mount a Fazua gear-box protection that must be removed:
Unscrew the screw in the figure and the one on the opposite side behind the
crown
| Unscrew the third screw
| Remove the guard that protects the connectors
| ATTENTION! Possibility of error.
Following the cable that comes from the SPEED SENSOR, locate the Connector (1)
that connects it to the engine. It could be Green or Black color.
| Remove the connector (1) using a long-nose pliers.
DO NOT PULL FROM THE CABLE!
| Now proceed to the Furious connection as the connection diagram on the
following page.
– Positioning of the device
It is possible, at its discretion, to position the device in two different ways:
- Above the Gear-Box, inside the cavities of the frame; this solution is more laborious because it is necessary to remove the gear-box but it allows to place the device in a very protected and completely invisible way.
- Inside the Fazua Gear-Box Cover-Container; It is a cover-container made of PLA with a 3D printer designed to hold the device and to protect it slightly from water sprays. It is fixed as follows:
Remove the two screws indicated by the arrows
Insert the device in the cover with the CABLE EXIT DOWNWARD !!
Fasten the cover with the two supplied screws. Be careful not to exert pressure on wires and device!

ATTENTION: A WRONG CONNECTION CAN DAMAGE YOUR FURIOUS AND/OR YOUR E-BIKE
ELECTRONICS
1= Follow the cable that starts from the speed sensor 5, locate the connector
2 that connects it to the Gear Box and extract it with a longnose pliers.
DO NOT PULL FROM THE CABLE!!!
2 = Connect the connector 2 to the Furious connector 3
3 = Connect the Furious connector 4 to the connector 1 of the gear-box
– The speed release can be activated and deactivated as indicated on the
following pages
For Pinarello NYTRO is available a corner in PLA 3d printed (indicated by the
arrow) that has only aesthetic purpose of finishing and is fixed with the same
screw removed previously.

Instructions for use
GENERAL INFO
The purpose of Furious EVO is to manipulate the rotation speed of the rear
wheel and to communicate to the engine a speed always lower than 25 kmH in
order to obtain a very hi real speed with active engine. The maximum speed
limit will therefore be dictated by the power of the engine added to the power
expressed by your legs.
It can be activated and deactivated and maintains the setting even after the
bike is turned off.
It can be installed on e-bikes with any type of display or side control as
well as on e-bikes without a display.
It is a device that has no communication with the display therefore, when the
device is active, the display marks the speeds in this way:
– From 0 up to 20 real kmh: REAL SPEED
– From 20 up to 45 real kmh: HALF SPEED
– From 45 up to 75 real kmh: SPEED DIVIDED BY THREE Variable thresholds
based on the circumference inserted in the engine Also the distances undergo
alterations with Active device.
With the device Deactivated the bike works as original.
FURIOUS EVO Vers. EASY
Furious Evo Vers. Easy must be connected “as a bridge” between the speed
sensor and the engine.
– It is supplied ready to use in “ACTIVE” mode ..
– It can be activated and deactivated at will and keeps the setting even after
the bike is turned off.
Activation and deactivation:
– Turn the ebike off and on again. Do not move it or do other operations.
– Raise the rear wheel, give a strong pedal with the longest (hardest) gear
engaged.
Let it run for a few seconds.
The system recognizes the acceleration and considers it as an activation or
deactivation command (cyclically). Upon activation, the display shows the
speed that change from real to halved in the manner described above. When
deactivated, the display shows the speed change from halved to real and the
bike returns to its original state.

IMPORTANT
Once the SpeedFun speed unlocking device has been installed, the electric
bicycle, exceeding the 25 kmH limit, is compared to a moped and as such, if it
circulates in public places, needs the approval / registration, is subject to
payment of the road tax and insurance coverage, must have the plate, can not
circulate on the bike paths and the driver has the obligation of driving with
license and must use the helmet. Furthermore, the driving of a motorized
bicycle equivalent to a moped that does not comply with the
aforementioned provisions involves the administrative seizure of the vehicle
and pecuniary penalties that vary depending on the offense committed.
The SpeedFun release system manufacturer declines any responsibility for any
damage caused to the pedal assisted bicycles on which the device is mounted as
well as to direct or indirect damage to people or property.
Please note that the modification to the bicycle invalidates the
manufacturer’s warranty.
