- Remove the original H-D nut from the rear axle assembly.
- Insert the replacement nut provided in the package onto the rear axle.
- Position the licence plate bracket against the rear fork on the left side.
- Secure the licence plate bracket using the socket set screws. (Optional: Apply thread lock glue to threaded connections)
- If the rear axle nut is on the right side, rotate the rear axle so that the nut is on the left side for proper installation.
