The Harley-Davidson M8 Softail Rear Fender Bobbstr is a product from Killer Custom, a European manufacturer. It is designed for motorcycles with 150-170 wide tires or 180-200 wide tires. The fender is handmade with fiberglass and comes with a black gelcoat finish. It should be noted that the gelcoat finish is not a final use coating and will require a top-coat (such as paint) for final use. The product may have minor surface imperfections and scuffs due to its handmade nature and shipping. Product Usage Instructions:
- Before, during, and after installation, be sure to check all clearances to avoid any damage or injury.
- Remove the OEM seat from your motorcycle. You can use the original seat with our Bobbstr rear.
- Install the Bobbstr rear fender, making sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully.
- Top-coat the fender with a final use coating such as paint.
- After installation, attach the seat/seat pan on the motorcycle.
- Take a test drive to ensure everything is working perfectly.
By following these instructions carefully, you can install and use the Harley-
Davidson M8 Softail Rear Fender Bobbstr safely and effectively.
These parts are handmade of fiberglass come with a black gelcoat finish. This
coating is not final use coating and will need to be top -coated (such as
paint) for final use. Minor surface imperfections and scuffs are normal and
may happen during taking parts out of the mold and shipping. This is allowable
as the coating will need to be scuffed for final top-coat preparation. For

Check all clearances before, during and after installation.

Remove the OEM seat from your motorcycle. You can use the original seat with our “Bobbstr” rear fenders, but also you can use included seat pan to build your own new seat or purchase separately one of our suggested seats.

Remove the OEM rear fender including side supports and the license plate support bracket assembly.

Install the rear run/brake light into fender using the silicone or similar glue. The black wire is ground (-) the red one is brake (+) and the yellow is for running light (+). Put the wiring through the wire holders.

Put your “Bobbstr” rear fender on your motorcycle adjust its position if needed with the included 1 mm spacers between the frame and the fender and bolt it on. Use the included cover plates under the bolts. There are predrilled holes on the fender, in some cases you may need to adjust the holes’ shape or position.

Put the console between the gas tank and the seat, as shown in the picture below, and adjust its position.

You may need to replace the gas tank lower acorn nut with the included one for better console fit.

You may also need to adjust the shape of the console according to the shape of your tank and seat

Attach the seat/seat pan on the motorcycle and the installation is complete.

After the installation make a test drive to be sure everything is working perfectly.
NOTE:
- Installation of this kit requires detailed knowledge of the motorcycle model and mechanics. It is assumed that the installer has access to the proper tools and a working knowledge of them and factory service manuals.
- Before the painting the parts first you have to put those on the motorcycle and make sure that everything is adjusted and fits perfectly. Killer Custom will not be responsible for any fitment issues after paint.
- This kit is designed to use with the original shock absorbers, but for better look you may need to use the lowering kit or air ride suspension.
