611.51 – Hiring or Rostering of Direct Care Workers
Purpose:

– Direct care workers affected by a change of ownership are not required to obtain another criminal history report.
(j) Individuals Currently Employed or Rostered:
– Direct care workers and office staff employed or rostered as of December 12, 2009, must obtain and submit State Police criminal history records or Department of Aging letters of determination to the agency by April 12, 2010, unless the agency already possesses a compliant criminal history report from the individual’s initial hiring.
