Kavey 30 Minutes Fireproof Safe
Warning
- Do not lock the emergency key or USB type-c cable into your safe.
- If the safe box is not used for a long time, the battery should be removed to prevent leakage of liquid from damaging the electronic system.
- Purchase 4 AA batteries in advance, this safe does not include batteries.

BOX CONTENTS
- NOTICE: Different modes have different numbers of locking bolts.
- NOTICE: The keys, Type-C cable, and user manual are packed in the accessory bag hanging on the safe door.
SET UP THE CODE
Step 1: Open the door with the key
- Right-slide the keyhole cover to expose the emergency keyhole.
- Insert the emergency key, turn it counterclockwise to the limit, and hold on to it.
- Then rotate the knob clockwise to open the door.
NOTICE:
- When you rotate the knob to open, you must have the key fully inserted and turned counterclockwise to the limit, keeping the key until the safe is unlocked and opened.
- Use the key to unlock, the LED light will not light up.
- Please keep the keys in a secure place, do not lock the keys inside the safe.
Step 2: Install Battery
- After the first opening, keep the safe open and locate the battery case, prepare 4 brand-new AA 1.5 Volt alkaline batteries (not included).
- Remove the internal battery case cover and install the 4 AA batteries by matching the + & – electrode.
NOTICE:
- The rechargeable battery is not recommended as it may destroy the internal electronic components of your safe.
- Please use brand-new batteries, do not mix used batteries with new batteries.
- After opening the door, if the safe beeps 6 times in a row, it means the batteries are out of power, please replace the batteries.
Step3: Set up the code
- Open the safe, keep the safe open, and press the setting button (on the inner side of the door) for 1 second, the safe beeps once, and the keypad light is on.
- Input a new code (3-12 digits), then press # to confirm. The buzzer plays a chord, indicating that the code is successfully set.
- Testing the code before you close the door.
Step4: Set up the second code
- Open the safe, keep the safe open, enter 0 twice, then press the setting button (on the inner side of the door) for 1 second, the safe beeps once, and the keypad lights on.
- Input a new code(3-12 digits), then press # to confirm. The buzzer plays a chord, indicating that the code is successfully set.
- Testing the code before you close the door.
NOTICE:
- 10 seconds without any operation after pressing the setting button, it will go back to standby mode, you need to retry from STEP3.
- Please set up both of the two codes immediately after receiving the safe.
- The default code is 123456, which needs to be modified.
OPEN / CLOSE THE DOOR
THREE WAYS TO OPEN THE DOOR
- The first way to open is to use the emergency key.
- Insert the emergency key into the right keyhole, turn counterclockwise to the limit, and hold still, then rotate the knob clockwise to open the safe (Suitable for the first opening, forget code or weak battery).
- The second way to open: Use the code
- After installing the battery, enter your code and then press the # key to confirm, rotate the knob clockwise to open the safe (Suitable for quick access and daily use).
- The third way to open: Use the USB type-c cable + code
- When the battery of your safe is weak and you can’t find the keys, please plug one end of the USB type-c cable into the emergency power hole and plug the other end into the portable charger (not included), then enter the correct code to open the door (Suitable for the battery is out of power and the key can not be found).
CLOSE THE DOOR
Close the door and rotate the knob counterclockwise.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
DUAL ALARM SYSTEM
- After 3 consecutive times of wrong codes, your safe will activate the alarm system, the alarm will sound for 30 seconds, enter the correct code and the alarm will be canceled.
- In standby state, press *, there is a beep and all the lights come on at once, and the vibration alarm mode is turned on. If the box is shaken or hit violently, it will give an alarm immediately for 30 seconds, at this point, enter the correct code to stop the alarm.
NOTICE:
- When power is on, the system default for alarm is off.
- After the safe is opened with the code, the vibration alarm will turned off and needs to be turned on again.
- When you forget the code, the alarm can be stopped by using the key to open the safe and remove the battery to cut off the power.
RESET THE SYSTEM
- Press and hold the setting button for 3 seconds, and the buzzer plays a chord, indicating the successful reset (All stored codes will be deleted, please use the default code to unlock).
- The default code is 123456, which needs to be modified.
MUTE FUNCTION
- In a standby state, press the number 1 twice, then press the pound key (#*). You will hear a long beep, indicating that the mute function is turned on.
- While in the mute function, press the number 1 twice, then press the pound key (#). You will hear a long beep, indicating that the mute function is turned off.
NOTICE:
Under the mute function state, the wrong code alarm and vibration alarm still work, and the alarm will sound when triggered.
HOW TO USE THE ADJUSTABLE SHELF
Slide down the shelf holder and pull out the holder horizontally, you can adjust the position of the shelf or take out the shelf according to your needs.
NOTICE:
- The shelves of the KFS-30 safe are removable but non-adjustable. It can be removed by unscrewing the screws with a screwdriver.
UNDER VOLTAGE WARNING
- When the voltage is around 4.8V, after opening the door, the buzzer will beep 6 times in a row, reminding the user that the battery power is low and the batteries need to be replaced.
BOLTING DOWN YOUR SAFE

MOUNT THE SAFE
- Step 1: Starting from the position of the installation hole at the bottom of the safe, drill through the fireproof insulation board inside the safe.
- Step 2: Place the safe at the installation place floor, and mark the drilling spots on the floor from the inside pre-drilled holes.
- Step 3: Remove the safe and drill a about 10 mm hole in the floor with a drill bit.
- Step 4: Position the safe in place and install screws through the safe into the holes. Tighten screws.
NOTICE: To ensure fireproof performance, we have no pre-drilled holes in the fire insulation board of the safe, if you want to mount the safe on the floor, please drill the holes from the bottom, thanks for your understanding.

Maintainance

lf you do not use the safe for a long time, please take out the battery in the safe to prevent the battery fluid from leaking and damaging the safe.

Keep your keys and USB type-c cable safe, it can open the the safe when the safe is out of power or if you forget your code.

Store the safe in a cool, backlit place.

Do not wipe the safe with corrosive chemical solvents, use a clean rag to wipe with a little cleaning agent.

Please don’t remove the fire-resistant strip on the inside of the door. It expands when exposed to fire, sealing gaps and preventing damage to your valuables.
