Product Usage Instructions
Initial Use
Before using it for the first time, wash the product by hand and always add
bicarbonate of soda or washing-up liquid to the water.
- Never use a vacuum flask in a microwave oven, an oven or a freezer.
- Not to be used on a hob/cooktop/range or a hotplate.
- Do not keep carbonated (fizzy) drinks in the flask. The build-up of pressure can make the cork explode with considerable force. The same thing may happen if sugary drinks in the flask are exposed to heat, as heat sets a fermentation process in motion.
- Important: This vacuum flask is designed for storing and serving beverages. Do not drink directly from the vacuum flask.
- Avoid using the flask for baby food and hot milk. Bacteria develop rapidly in the heat and start a fermentation process. If you do – ensure it’s only for a short time and then clean it thoroughly.
- Pre-heating the vacuum flask with hot water, or cooling it with cold water, making sure the contents retain the desired temperature for longer.
- Handwash only.
- Wash, rinse and dry the vacuum flask before using it for the first time. Wash it by hand, always add bicarbonate of soda or washing up liquid to the water.
Instructions in Different Languages
- Deutsch: Dry it off before first use. Handwash and add a bit of salt or dish soap to the water.
- Nederlands: Rinse, dry, and wipe it down. Handwash and add some baking soda or dishwashing liquid to the water.
- Dansk: Wash by hand, always adding bicarbonate of soda or detergent to the water.
