Thank you for purchasing this OAC product. Below are a few notes to help your child get the most out of their new Skinbased skis & bindings.

Mounting EA POH binding:

Pre-mounted bindings on Skinbased POH skis
Bindings come fully installed and ready for use. Simply set the binding to the correct length (see instructions below), tighten and lock the straps, and ski!
Mounting EA POH bindings on undrilled skis
The binding holes match the OAC 46 mm Nordic norm pattern.
Use of a printed template (provided) or mounting jig is recommended.
The recommended binding mount position is with the front screw 1 cm in front of the balance point of the ski. See mounting chart for Skinbased skis.
Select a drill bit based on your ski manufacturer’s recommendations (Skinbased POH skis: 4,1 / 9 mm)
Please check your ski manufacture’s specifications before drilling!
We recommend using epoxy on the screws for additional strength.
Install the toe strap onto the base unit. Make sure the toe strap is well seated onto the base unit post. Please note theorientation of the toe strap. Mount the base unit to the ski via the two rear screws, then mount the front screw.
Please see the attached illustration on how to correctly orient the toe straps and heel units. Please note the differencebetween the right and left bindings.
Firmly tighten binding screws with PZ3 screwdriver. Do not overtighten.

Use of EA POH bindings

Binding length is adjusted by lifting up the lever and sliding the heel unit to the correct position. The length is correct when there is 5-10 mm of space between the shoe and the binding’s front posts. Do not set the binding too tight.
Toe and ankle straps can be tightened by gently pulling the straps down and back. Once snug, pull up and towards the inside of the foot. Place the buckle post securely into a strap hole. Finish by locking the strap end down to the button.
Check all screws, straps, and spring units on a regular basis.
It is possible for dirt or other debris to get into the heel piece mechanism and prevent the proper movement of the springs. In this case you should remove the heel piece from the baseplate and clean the debris. Lubricate the plate and springs with silicon spray if needed.
For long-term storage it is recommended to remove the heel unit and to release the spring from tension.
The spring, which is made of rubber, stretches over time. Thus, we recommend occasionally replacing the springs.
EA POH binding is not an automatcally releasable binding.
Use only with flexible-soled winter footwear.
