Product Usage Instructions
Getting to Know Your Keyboard
The keyboard features various buttons including the USB keyboard connector,
brightness button, Windows lock button, play/pause button, volume & mute
buttons, and specific keys for functions like ESC, CAPS, SHIFT, ENTER, etc.
Setting Up Your Keyboard
To ensure optimal performance, update to the latest firmware version using
CORSAIR iCUE. Connect the USB keyboard connector to a compatible device’s USB
Type-A port. Check the compatibility list for Microsoft Xbox and Sony
PlayStation consoles.
Factory Reset
To reset the keyboard to factory default settings, hold the ESC key for
two seconds while the device is plugged in.
Connecting to Sony PlayStation
The keyboard has a special mode for Sony PlayStation consoles activated by
pressing FN + Hold for 5 sec. Use the same shortcut to switch back to standard
mode.
Software Mode
When iCUE is running, the keyboard operates in software mode controlled by
iCUE software. Download and install iCUE on a Windows PC or Apple Mac for
complete control over lighting and macros.
Hardware Mode
In hardware mode (when iCUE is not running or not supported), the keyboard
uses onboard profiles and settings. Use shortcuts to adjust lighting effects
and settings without iCUE.
Macro Recording
Record macros using the iCUE software for customized functions.

SETTING UP YOUR KEYBOARD
To ensure the best performance on K55 CORE, please update to the latest
firmware version using CORSAIR iCUE.

FACTORY RESET
Hold ESC key for two seconds while device is plugged in to erase onboard
memory profiles and restore factory default settings.
CONNECTING TO SONY PLAYSTATION
The keyboard also has a special mode to support Sony PlayStation 4 and 5 that
can be activated via shortcut.

SOFTWARE MODE
When iCUE is running the keyboard operates in software mode and is controlled
by iCUE.
Download iCUE from corsair.com/icue and install on
a Windows PC or Apple Mac to connect all of your CORSAIR iCUE compatible
products together in a single interface, giving you complete control of
everything from lighting to powerful macros.
HARDWARE MODE
When iCUE is not running or the keyboard is connected to a device that does
not support iCUE, the keyboard operates in hardware mode which uses profiles
and settings saved to the onboard storage.
