INSTRUCTIONS HAND MIXER
General Information
Thank you for purchasing a Status Hand Mixer. We recommend that you spend some
time reading these instructions in order to fully understand all the
operational features it offers.
Important Instructions — Retain for future use.
Important Safeguards
When using this Hand Mixer, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:-

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. -
Keep the appliance away from hot surfaces, and objects that can be damaged by heat.

When cleaning or putting the appliance away, switch off the appliance and always pull the plug out from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) and remove any attached accessories.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
1. Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments.
2. Farm houses.
3. By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.
4. Bed and breakfast type environments. -
Ensure there is adequate room to operate the Mixer.

Never leave the appliance unsupervised. To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the cable is not hanging over the counter edge and that children do not have access to the appliance.

Always unplug your appliance after use.

Never immerse the powerbase, cord or plug in liquid.

Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorised technician. To avoid the exposure to danger, always ensure a faulty cable is replaced only by the manufacturer or by a qualified person and with a cable of the same type.

Ifthe supply cord is damaged, the cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similar qualified persons in order to avoid any hazard.

Never use a damaged appliance, get it checked or repaired by the manufacturer or by a qualified person.

Caution: Do not operate your appliance on an uneven or sloping surface.

Only use the accessories/components supplied with the product.

Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the underside of your Mixer.

Ensure that the mixer cannot fall into water.

Do not use it outdoors.

The switch on this appliance must be readily operable at all times. Do not hinder its operation by incorrect placement or by placing obstacles that may restrict its free movement.

There are no customer serviceable parts in this Mixer.
-
This Mixer is intended for use by competent adults and children should be supervised at all times.

Never place object such as spoons and knifes etc. in to the bowl while in use.
Description
Preliminaries
Unpack your Mixer and any accessories carefully. Retain the packaging so that you can transport the appliance safely. If you dispose of it please do so with regard to any recycling regulations in your area.
Before Using Your Mixer
Check that the voltage marked on the rating plate on the product matches your
mains voltage. Please read all the instructions in this User Guide with
particular reference to the safety notes.
WARNING: Handle with great care and ensure that you unplug the appliance from the outlet before assembling or removing parts.
Mixer Operation

Ensure that the speed selector is at ‘0’ before plugging the mixer in to the mains wall socket.

Attach the required accessories to the mixer.
NOTE: The beaters can be inserted in to either socket as they are identical. Plug the mixer in to the mains socket and select your desired speed. -
There are 5 speed settings that can be selected.

The maximum recommended continuous use should not be longer than 3 minutes with a 20 minute cooldown.

When the mixing cycle is complete, turn the speed selector to ‘0’ and unplug from the power outlet.

To remove the beaters hold them in one hand and press the eject button with the other, never pull directly out.
-
NOTE: Do not run the appliance for more than 3 minutes at a time, wait until the unit has cooled to room temperature before your next use.

Switch the speed selector to “O” once the mixture is to your desired consistency.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Unplug the appliance and wait for it to completely cool.
- Wipe the mixer unit with a damp cloth and allow to fully dry.
- Wash the beaters in warm soapy water and wipe them with a dry cloth. The beaters are dishwasher safe.
CAUTION: Do not use abrasive cleaners and never immerse the power base in water
This appliance is fitted with either a moulded or rewirable BS1363 plug. The
fuse should be rated at 3 amps and be ASTA approved to BS1362.
lf the fuse in a moulded plug needs to be changed, the fuse cover must be
refitted. The appliance must not be used without the fuse cover fitted.
lf the plug is unsuitable, it should be dismantled and removed from the supply
cord and an appropriate plug fitted as detailed below. If you remove the plug
it must not be connected to a 13 amp socket and the plug must be disposed of
immediately.
The wires of the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following
code:
BLUE = NEUTRAL, BROWN = LIVE
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal in your plug
which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal in your
plug which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
Ensure that the outer sheath of the cable is firmly held by the clamp
Warranty
Your Status appliance is warranted for 12 months from the date of purchase. If
a fault develops during this period, please return the unit to the place of
purchase together with the original receipt as proof of purchase. This
warranty in no way affects your consumer rights.
