Installation
Please read the entire guide before installing the system.
Follow these steps:
- Remove the factory windshield and mounting blocks.
- Bolt the MadStad adjustable windshield brackets to the dash using the supplied M6 x 25 screws.
Adjustment
Follow these steps for adjusting the windshield:
- Ensure the vehicle is at a complete stop before making adjustments.
- Loosen both adjustment knobs by about 2 turns to free up the mechanism.
- Lift or lower the windshield so that the top edge is at mouth level and set the angle to approximately 60 degrees.
- Adjust further for optimal airflow and comfort as needed.

INSTALLATION OVERVIEW
The factory windshield and mounting blocks must be removed. The MadStad adjustable windshield brackets bolt to the dash replacing the factory mounting blocks using the supplied M6 x 25 screws. (not M6 x 16 shown in photo)
Windshield Installation
- Pre-install the Truss screws & washers into the windshield holes as shown in the image below.
- Once all four of the screws are in place, gently guide the screws into the Well Nuts in the brackets until all four are set.
- Hand-tighten the Truss screws until they swell up behind the bracket and are firmly holding the windshield.
Adjustment
- Always bring your vehicle to a complete stop before adjusting the windshield!
- MadStad brackets are adjustable for both height and angle. Loosen both knobs about 2 turns to free up the mechanism. Lift or lower the windshield so that the top edge is at about mouth level, and set the angle to approximately 60 degrees. This is only an initial setting to get you started, simply adjust as necessary for optimal airflow and comfort.

MadStad adjustable brackets carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not include cosmetic issues nor any parts that inherently wear out or degrade over time such as rubber and plastic parts. Windshields, deflectors, and other similar plastic parts are warrantied for 1 year against manufacturing defects, not against cosmetic issues or issues related to normal wear and tear.
