Product Usage Instructions

Replacing the Lamp:

  1. Grasp the plug and gently remove it from the receptacle or outlet. Avoid pulling on the cord.
  2. Pull the lamp and plastic base straight out of the lamp holder.
  3. If replacing the lamp with a new one, ensure it is a 3.2 volt, 0.064-watt super brightness type lamp provided with the product.
  4. If the new lamp base does not fit, follow these steps:
  5. Remove the base of the burned-out lamp by straightening lamp leads and gently pulling it out.
  6. Thread leads of the new lamp through holes in the old base with one lead in each hole.
  7. After inserting the lamp into the base, bend each lead up to ensure contact inside the lamp holder.

Important Caution:

  • Replace lamps only with spare lamps provided with the product to avoid fire hazards.
  • Do not overload the lighting string. Connect multiple strings or outfits up to a total of 216 Watts or less.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  11. This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or short-circuit situation. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or products that may be attached to the product. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product.

  12. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit may be present and the product should be discarded. )Read and follow all instructions that are on the product or provided with the product.

Use and Care Instructions

  1. When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well-maintained and fresh. Do not place on live trees in which the needles are brown or break off easily.

User Servicing Instructions

Replace the fuse.

  1. Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device.
  2. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
  3. Open fuse cover. Slide open fuse access cover on top of attachment plug towards blades.
  4. Risk of fire, Replace fuse only with 3 Amp, 125 Volt fuse (provided with product).
  5. Close fuse cover. Slide closed the fuse access cover on top of the attachment plug.
  6. Risk of fire. Do not replace the attachment plug. Contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the attachment plug is damaged.

Replace the lamp.

  1. Step 1: Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
  2. Step 2: Pull lamp and plastic 3.2 volt, 0.064 watt, super brightness base straight out of lampholder. type lamp (provided with product).
  3. Step 3: Replace lamp with only

If the new lamp base does not fit in lampholder, follow the steps below before step 3.

  1. Remove the base of burned out lamp by straightening lamp leads and gently pull lamp out.
  2. Thread leads of new lamp through holes in old base with one lead in each hole.
  3. After lamp is fully inserted into base, bend each lead up, like other lamps in the light set so that the leads will touch the contacts inside the lampholder.

CAUTION :
Replace lamps only with 3.2 volt, 0.064-watt spare lamps provided with this product. b) Risk of fire. This product does not contain lamp shunts in order to allow the product to operate if one lamp burns out. Do not replace lamps with other than the spare lamps provided with this product.

CAUTION :
This lighting string is rated 6.6 Watts (0.055Amps), do not overload. Connect other lighting strings or decorative outfits end-to-end up to a maximum of 216 Watts (1.8 Amps) total. If connecting to a lighting string that does not have a Wattage (W) rating found on the tag within 6 inches of the plug) calculate the wattage as follows: Multiply the current (0.055A) which is on the flag- type tag by 120.
For Example: The lighting string is rated 120 V, 60 Hz, 0.11 Amps. 0.11A X 120V = 13.2 Watts

ADD THE WATTAGE OF EACH LIGHT STRING TOGETHER FOR A TOTAL OF 216 WATTS OR LESS (DO NOT EXCEED 216 WATTS.)
