How to fold a
Valentine’s Day Paper Parcel

Valentine’s Day Paper Parcel

What you need:

• Co-op template printed out double sided
• Ruler (helpful but not needed)
• Scissors
• Pencil or Pen

1. Print out the Co-op Template.
2. Write a meaningful message following the prompts on the front and back of the paper
3. Fold the paper across to make a triangle from the bottom up.
4. Cut off the excess rectangle on top of the folded triangle. Unfold the triangle to be left with a perfect square.
5. Divide your square into 3 equal vertical sections as indicated in diagram below.
6. Valley-fold along the light visible lines on the template and then unfold them.
7. Divide your square into 3 equal horizontal sections as indicated in diagram below.
8. Valley-fold along the light visible lines on the template and then unfold them.
9. Valley-fold your square in half so that the corners meet and make a triangle. Fold along the indicated lines in both directions. Then unfold.
10. Turn the paper over.
11. Valley-fold along the indicated lines, creating triangles by pulling the outer corners into the opposing corner of the central square.
12. Turn the square over again so you are looking at the original side.
13. Pinch a pair of opposite corners together and twist anti-clockwise to make a windmill.
14. Re-crease the edges to flatten and smooth out the windmill.
15. Fold the windmill arms into the centre of the square, starting with the right arm (labelled 1).
16. Going counter-clockwise, continue to fold the arms inwards, letting them overlap.
17. After folding the last arm (labelled 4) tuck it in under the first arm.
18. That’s your paper parcel complete! Pick a meaningful place to display your paper parcel.
