Product Usage Instructions

Installation:

1. Tighten the screws strictly according to the instructions to avoid damage to the equipment.
2. Check the power indicator; ensure it is red except the camera is at full charge.
3. If your router is dual-band, please contact us for assistance.

Connecting to WiFi:

1. Double check the WiFi name and password and tap OK.
2. Open the app and proceed until you get a QR code.
3. Use the camera to scan the QR code on your mobile phone.
4. Continue tapping next until you hear a specific tone.

Safety Instructions:

• The device meets general RF exposure requirements and can be used in portable exposure conditions without restriction.
• Ensure the device is used at least 20cm away from your body to comply with RF specifications.

Note: The power cable of the solar panel is 9.2feet.

Product overview

CAUTION: Please insert the Micro SD Card according to the direction shown in the diagram. Micro SD Card might JAM if inserted incorrectly and device could be damaged.

• SD Card Port: Support Micro SD card for local storage (Max 128GB).
• Reset button: Used to restore the camera to factory settings (Press and hold on 5-85).
• Card capacity requirements: 8-128GB.
• Read and write speed requirements: Class10 Level.
• File format: FAT32. (Please format the SD card for the first use) Please refer to the FAQ 4.

Cloudedge App download and Setup

1. Search ” CloudEdge” on apple store or google play to download the app.

2. Scan the following QR code

TIPS: APP Permission Settings

When using the application for the first time, please turn on the following 2 permissions.

1. Allow”Cloudedge”to access mobile cellular data and WLAN, otherwise you will not be able to add devices.
2. Allow “Cloudedge” to receive messages, otherwise the phone will not receive alert push notifications when motion detection or audible alerts are triggered.
   The following is a screenshot of iOS cellphone operation, Android cell phone permissions open method is basically the same as this method.

Mounting the camera

Select Height and location
Hang the camera 7-10 ft (2-3 m) above the ground. This height maximizes the detection range of the motion sensor Avoid placing the camera under direct sunlight.

Installation

1. Drilling according to position sticker, drill bit: 15/64″(6 mm).
2. Insert the plastic anchors.
3. Tighten the screw.

What is required:

Installation instruction of solar panel

1. Keep the installation angle of solar panels about 30-45° with the horizontal plane, as shown in the picture below.
2. The installation between the solar panel and the camera is shown in the following figure(open up the silicone cover at the bottom of the camera, remove the small center part of the cover, insert the power cord through the opening and plug it into the Type C port).

Tips for the installation of solar panel

1. Please keep the solar panel at an angle that can be directly exposed to the sun.
2. Please avoid shading on the solar panel.
3. Check the power indicator,make sure it is red (except the camera at full charge) .

Test the Wifi signal at installation position
Make sure the wifi signal value is above 75 before installation.

Register an account

The Cloudedge APP is totally free for remote access.
As for storage, you can use a mirco SD card or pay for the cloud service.

1. Enter the app and tap the “sign up now” at the bottom side.
2. Sign up with your email address, and click “Next”.
3. Set up an “Nickname” and “Password” for your APP, click “Done” to complete.

Set up Wifi for the camera

1. Set up the camera near by the router
   Note: The camera can only connect to a 2.4 GHz WiFi signal. It does not support using a 5 GHz signal. You can confirm your home wifi is 2.4Ghz or not via the sticker on your home router. PS:Please contact us if your router is dual-band

2. Log in to “CloudEdge”, then tap the “t” icon in the center. Tap “Battery Camera” to add device.

Reset the camera by holding the reset button for about 5 seconds, the device is reset successfully if you hear a”BUGU” tone, then tap Next.

1. Selecting the 2.4Ghz wifi, input the password and click next.
2. Please double check the wifi name and password and tap OK.

• You will get a QR code on the app after you tap next.
• Use the camera to scan the QR code on your mobile phone.
• Tap next untill you hear a “BUGU” tone.

• Wait for the network configuration,the indicator turns to blue means camera added successfully.
• Tap next, get live view.

Alarm Management

Tap to the setting button select alarm management

1. 10 means top sensitivity, 1 means the lowest.
2. Tap Custom mode, turn on the humanoid detection to reduce the false alarm.

3. If you want to detect all the moving objects, please turn off the humanoid detection.
4.  The default recording time is 10S, you can select 20S, 30S depend on your needs.

Audio warning and strobe light

Audio warning and strobe light is only valid at night.
Tap setting icon, choose alarm management, tap audio warning and strobe light, turn on.

Device Share

If your family members want to view, you can share the camera by the following steps

1. Ask your family members to download the cloudedge app and sign up a new account with email.
2. Operate on your own account, click the setting button and select device share-add-enter account and input your family members email account.
3. Your family member will get a invitation request, click agree to join.

FAQ

• Q1: The device prompts offine?

  • A: • Check whether the Camera is in the power-on state.
  • Check whether the Wi-Fi network is in good condition and restart the router.
  • Put the camera near by the router, try again.
  • Delete the camera from your Cloudedge APP account and add it a gain after resetting the device.
  • Check whether the device firmware and application programare the latest version.

• Q2: Why the device is still in the list after reseting?
  A: The device reseting is only for the parameter configurations of the camera, not for App configuration. If you want to remove the camera, Please just delete it from the APP end.

• Q3: How to change the camera network to another router?

  • A : First remove and reset the device on the App and then configure the device again by the App.

• Q4: Why the SD card can not be indentified?

  • A : Please plug in SD card after power cut.
  • Confirm whether the SD card is normal and the format is FAT32. Please note: TF card may not be identified when the Internet environment is not good.
  • Please format the SD card for the first use,tap the setting icon, choose recording management, tap the format button.

• Why I can’t get the notifications with my cell phone App?

  • Please confirm that the App has been running on the phone.
  • Make sure if the “Cloudedge”app notification push function has been opened.
  • Make sure if the message notification and authority confirmation in the mobile phone system have been opened.
