Warnings
- The lightning flash with an arrow in an equilateral triangle symbol is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltages” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to person.
- The exclamation point in an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance instructions in the documentation accompanying the product
Important Warnings
- Do not expose the unit to rain or environments where water or other liquids may be sprayed, as this may cause fires or short circuits.
- Do not install the unit in places exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources, which may cause fire or electric shock.
- Use the unit only with the voltage specified on the unit. Using a voltage higher than that stated may result in damage to the unit.
- Do not cut, damage or modify the power cable. Also, avoid using the power cable near heat sources.
- Ensure that you have secured the earth with the earth terminal to prevent shocks.
- If smoke or a strange smell is detected, unplug the unit immediately. If the power cable is damaged, disconnect the unit.
- Do not place objects containing liquids on top of the unit. Do not insert or drop metal objects or flammable materials into the cover slots of the unit, as this can cause damage to the unit.
- Do not block the ventilation slots in the unit cover.
- The power supply is always the last operation. The power plug must always be inserted without applying force. Ensure that the plug is firmly connected to the socket.
- Do not use the device near sources of heat or cold. Failure to observe these precautions may result in damage to the power cord, fire or lethal electric shock.
- If extension cords are used, check that the core diameter is sufficient for the power consumption required by the device. All warnings regarding power cords also apply to any extension cords.
- Always disconnect the device from the main power supply when not in use or before cleaning. Disconnect the power cable only by the plug, never disconnect it by pulling on the cable. Failure to do so may result in damage causing lethal electric shocks.
- If the power plug or the device is dusty, you must stop using the device, disconnect the cables, and clean it with a dry cloth. Dust can reduce insulation and cause lethal electric shocks. Stubborn dirt on the inside and outside of the device should be removed by a specialist.
- Never install the amplifier next to highly sensitive devices such as preamplifiers or cassette decks, as the strong magnetic field of the amplifier can cause hum in such devices. The magnetic field is strongest directly above or below the amplifier. If a rack is used, the amplifier should be installed at the bottom and highly sensitive devices at the top.
- Only connect the device with the power switch switched off. Never connect inputs or outputs to any power source (mains, batteries, etc.)
- The device generates heat when in use, so leave about 10 cm of free space on both sides, and 5 cm of free space at the top, and ensure airflow to the front and back of the device.
- Maintenance and servicing must only be carried out by qualified personnel or authorized centers.
- The use of loudspeaker systems with an amplifier can produce excessive sound pressure levels that can lead to permanent hearing loss.
- To avoid fire or electric shock, never open or remove the unit housing as there are high-voltage components inside.

Speaker connection
100V line output
This system is most commonly used in the PA system. Only use 100 V line loudspeakers with transformers. All loudspeakers are wired in parallel and the sum of their power must not exceed the rated output power of the amplifier. It is recommended not to load the amplifier beyond 70% of its maximum power.
- COM and 100V terminals
- Speakers with 100V transformer
70V line output
This system is common in the US, operating on the same principles as the 100V line except that at nominal output power the amplifier has 70V RMS at its output terminals.
- COM and 70V terminals
- Speakers with 70V transformer
Low impedance output 4Ω and 8Ω
This output allows the connection of low-impedance loudspeakers without transformers. When using two or more loudspeakers, ensure that they are connected in ‘series’ or ‘parallel’, or in ‘series + parallel’. The important thing is that the total impedance is 4Ω or 8Ω.
