Product Usage Instructions

  • Safety Precautions:
    Before using the device, always wear safety glasses and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent any potential injuries.

  • Air Supply Connection:
    Ensure the air connector is connected to the air regulator. The maximum regulator pressure allowed is 40 psi (2.8 bar). Do not connect the machine to any air supply greater than 120psi (8.3 bar).

  • Air Line and Foot Pedal Setup:
    Connect the air line to the foot pedal, and then connect the foot pedal to the machine for proper operation.

  • Spoke Insertion:
    Insert the spoke flat into the spoke holding tool with the threaded end facing up.

  • Rim Alignment:
    Line up the rim so that the empty spoke hole is directly above the threaded section of the spoke as shown in FIG. 2.

  • Pneumatic Cylinder Alignment:
    Make sure that the fork end of the pneumatic cylinder is correctly aligned to make even contact with the rim. Replace any damaged or worn shrink wrap on the fork to avoid blemishes and damage to the rim.

  • Rim Pressing:
    Press the pedal to push the rim down towards the spoke using slow and even pressure to prevent damage to the rim. Refer to FIG. 3 for guidance.

  • Spoke Attachment:
    While keeping the pedal pressed, thread the nipple onto the spoke for about 3-4 full turns for proper attachment.

How To Use

  1. Wear safety glasses and PPE before using the device or connecting the device to an air supply.
  2. Ensure the air connector is connected to the air regulator. The maximum regulator pressure is 40 psi (2.8 bar). Do not connect the machine to any air supply greater than 120psi (8.3 bar).
  3. Ensure the air line is connected to the foot pedal, and the foot pedal is connected to the machine.
  4. Insert the spoke flat into the spoke holding tool with the threaded end facing up.
  5. Line up the rim so that the empty spoke hole is directly above the threaded section of the spoke. (FIG. 2)
  6. Ensure that the fork end of the pneumatic cylinder is lined up to make even contact with the rim. If the shrink wrap on the fork is damaged or worn, it is recommended to replace it with a new wrap to prevent blemishes and damage to the rim.
  7. Press the pedal to press the rim down towards the spoke. Use slow and even pressure on the pedal to ensure that the machine doesn’t damage the rim. (FIG. 3)
  8. With the pedal still applied, thread the nipple onto the spoke 3-4 full turns.
