Introduction
Thank you for purchasing 1byone Bathroom Scale. This instruction manual contains important information about safety, usage, and disposal. Use the product as described and keep this manual for future reference. If you sell this scale or pass it on, also give this manual to the new owner.
Safety Instructions
- Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquids.
- Do not place the scale on carpets or soft surfaces. Only place on solid and flat surfaces.
- Do not step on the scale with wet feet and do not use the scale if the platform is moist. Moisture will cause the scale’s surface to become slippery.
- When using the scale for the first time, or when changing its location, it should be turned on, off, and on again. It’s surface should also be free of any objects. Failure to do this may result in inaccurate measurements.
- Always keep batteries out of the reach of infants and young children to prevent them from being swallowed. If swallowed, take immediate action and contact medical authorities for help.
- Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use any chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
- If you do not intend to use the scale for a long period of time, remove the batteries and store the scale in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Inserting or Replacing Batteries
To insert the batteries, open the battery compartment on the rear of the scale
and remove the compartment cover. Insert 2 AAA batteries, paying attention to
the correct polarity
Selecting Unit Before Use
- Press the scale and wait “0.0lb” appears.
- Press the UNIT button on the rear of the scale to select the desired unit (kg, lb).
Note:
After selecting the unit, place the scale on a solid and flat surface and
start the measurement as described below. The scale will shut off
automatically after 8 seconds of inactivity
Measuring (with lb unit selected)
- Place the scale on a solid and flat surface.
- Stand on the scale to turn it on.
- Stand still and once a steady reading is taken, the display will lock and flash to indicate the final weight. The scale will then turn off after 8seconds.
Note: If you want to measure again, please step off completely and then
step back on the scale.
Error Indication
- Lo” is shown when battery power is low. Please replace with new batteries.
- “Err” is shown when the scale is overloaded. Please remove the weight on the scale immediately to protect the sensors. an error has occurred. Please step back to weight again.
- “C” is shown on the display when you step off the scale, indicating that

waste facility. Please observe currently applicable regulations. Please
contact your waste disposal center if you need any further information.
Disposal of batteries
Used batteries may not be disposed of in household waste.
All consumers are statutorily required to dispose of batteries at a collection
point provided by their local municipality or retail store. The purpose of
this obligation is to ensure batteries are disposed of in a non- polluting
manner. Only dispose of batteries when they are fully discharged.
The appliance’s packaging is made from environmentally friendly material and
can be disposed of at your local recycling plant.
