Cervical kinesiotherapy

An active lifestyle is an important part of treating and maintaining a healthy spine. Aerobic exercise (such as walking, biking, swimming)tightens your muscles and increases blood flow to the muscles, ligaments, and discs in your neck, starting with 5 minutes a day and gradually increasing it to 20-30 minutes a day.

The role of cervical motor therapy is mainly to promote the blood circulation of cervical vertebra, eliminate blood stasis and edema through the relaxing movement in all directions of the neck, and at the same time to draft cervical ligaments and relax spastic muscles, so as to reduce symptoms. In addition, strengthen the neck muscle, enhance its tolerance to fatigue, improve the stability of the cervical spine, so as to consolidate the treatment effect, prevent disease recurrence. This neck and shoulder exercise is suitable for patients with cervical spondylosis to self-care treatment at home. It is simple, easy to learn, economical and effective.

It is recommended to do these exercises 1-3times a day. But if the pain worsens or you feel strange, you need to stop exercising and consult a doctor.

Circular Motion

First of all, stand and face the front at eye level, keep your feet shoulder- width apart, and put your hands down.

Relax your whole body.

Arms akimbo, keep your body straight, or sitting or standing. The head is rotated clockwise first and counter clockwise after a few minutes. Note: Please rotate slowly, the amplitude can be gradually increased or combined- with the magnitude.

Isotonic Contraction

  • A. Put your hands behind your neck, slowly bend your neck backward to look at the calling, and fold your shoulders back to bring your shoulders blades together.

  • B. Keep good standing or sitting posture, put your ear as close to your shoulders as possible. Do this 3-Stimes, left and right.

  • C. Keep good standing or sitting posture, slowly turn your head to the left and back to the right.

Isotonic contraction

  • A. Keep good standing or sitting posture, put your palm against your forehead and keep itstill5 second.

  • B. Keep good standing or sitting posture, put your palm against all sides of your head and keep it still 5 seconds on each side.

  • C. Keep good standing or sitting posture, put your hands on one side of your head, turn your head and hands for 5 seconds on each side.

  • D. Keep good standing or sitting posture, put your hands behind your head and against each other for 5 seconds.

  • E. Keep good standing or sitting posture, relax your shoulders and put hands at your sides vertically. Lift your shoulders up towards your ears and hold for 3 seconds.

  • F. Standing at elbow joints at 90 degrees, rotate your arms outward to bring shoulder blades together for 5 seconds.

Range of application

  • Benign neck injury, neck brachial[ neuralgia and neck pain.
  • Mild cervical cirrhosis, chronic neck pain.
  • All kinds of pain caused by cervical spondylosis and the regulation of joint instability.
  • The treatment stage or after the lifting of the hard neck care.
  • To prevent the pain caused by swinging.
  • Support and correct neck posture, prevent chronic strain.
  • Postoperative care, torticollis, compression syndromes, rheumatic and/or degenerative disorders.

Wear steps

  1. Expand the neck brace;
  2. Place the medial center under the chin(distinguish medial and lateral), while wrapping the neck back;
  3. Attach the elastic band to the Velcro;
  4. Adjust the position and elastic band to a comfortable state;

How to choose the right size for you?

Measure the neck circumference with a soft rulers. And the neck height is the distance from the collarbone to the mandible. Finally choose the right size according to the measurement results.
