Best practices:
Sportnoculars are made of the finest optical quality. But there are many
factors that can affect the viewing experience.
The 1st time you use your glasses they should be fully set up correctly to
obtain the best viewing experience. Please begin with all adjustments per the
instructions under A in the operation guide section.
These glasses were designed to bring objects 2.8 -3X closer and to focus on
objects, people, and action within a «1-12 Degree Field of view(FOV). Keep in
mind different factors that can affect the view obtained: -Windy surroundings
and rapidly moving objects beyond the FOV. -Heavy fog and gray dark
surroundings. Typically usingSportnoculars in medium to brighter light
surroundings work best. Using them within the same temperature zone prevents
visual distortion. Going from hot to cold & cold to hot zones can cause
thermal expansion and contraction and cause an uneven viewing experience.

How to Focus your Glasses

First, adjust the spacing of the lenses to line up with the spacing between your eyes. Lens will slide left and right in the frame. You must slide the lens by applying equal pressure on both sides as you move it right or left. See Figure A & C.

First focus on the distant object with your left eye, turn the adjustment ring until the image is clear.

Then focus on the same distant object with your right eye. turn adjustment ring until the image is clear.

Turn gently, never force beyond the limits. The lens will allow a 0-+3 diopter focus adjustment.

Slide ear keepers on the end of the arms to keep glasses firmly on the head. (figure D)

Maintenance & Cleaning Care
The Sportnocular glasses are precision optical instruments. So be careful when you use it and put it away in the included protective case after use. Only clean with the cloth provided or similar micro cloth to avoid scratching the optical lens.
- Do not look into the sun or other strong light sources with the product or there can be permanent damage to your eyes.
- The lens is the most important and most vulnerable part of the product. Please do not disassemble it and clean it with care to retain its precision and performance. Do not use any harsh chemicals. Only water and products designed to clean glass should be used.
- The product is a calibrated instrument so please do not beat, drop or strike the product.
- Fingerprints on the optical mirror should be cleaned as soon as possible or the mirror will become corroded. The dust should also be blown away with a cleaning air blower and then be cleaned with a soft cotton cloth from the center to the edge clockwise or counterclockwise. Please remember that the lens and mirror should be wiped only as needed.
- The surface of the lens may be moldy in a wet environment. So please make sure that the lens and shell are totally cleaned after us and put away in a well-ventilated and dry environment. Do not leave in a duffle bag. Backpack, or other places where corrosive vapors. chemicals, excessive moisture could possibly damage the lens.
- High temperature can cause operation failure so glasses should not be placed near the heater or in the closed car under the sun.
- The product has a slight waterproof function but we advise the product not to be exposed to direct rain or submerged under a watt
- Please do not put the product in direct sun in order to avoid the fire to the surroundings (via sun thru magnification lens).
- Please do not over-tighten the lens barrels. Overtightening in either direction will break the seal and allow moisture into the lens barrel reducing the clarity and will void the warranty.
- When storing it’s best to adjust the lens to the minimum setting. fold arms up, remove rubber eyeshades & store in a protective case.
- We have engineered these glasses to the highest quality. If well cared for, these glasses will provide optimum results for many years.
