Porch Lights with GFCI Outlet
3 Lighting Modes:
- HIGH AUTO Mode(Factory Setting): Daytime auto-off. At dusk, the light stays all night 30% brightness and turn 100% brightness when it detects motion, then back to 30% brightness after 120s without motion sensing.
- LOW AUTO Mode: Daytime auto-off. At dusk, 0% brightness without movement at night, 100% brightness with movement detected, auto-off after 120 seconds without movement.
- MANUAL Mode: In Auto mode, turn wall switch to enter Manual mode. At MANUAL Mode, the light will turn on and stay on for 8H±1 H, or until the “dusk to dawn” sensor detects light in the morning. (Auto-on at night and Auto-off at daytime)
CAUTION:
-
The wall lamp will enter into the’ stand by mode’ automatically every time over again powered-connected.
The whole process will remain few minutes, then stay on auto mode. -
To prevent severe shock or electrocution, always turn the power OFF at the service panel before working with the wiring: Use this GFCI receptacle with copper or Copeland wire. Do not use it with aluminum wire Do not install this GFCI receptacle on a circuit that powers life support equipment because if the GFCI trips, it will shut down the equipment For installation in damp or wet locations, the GFCL receptacle must be Listed and marked as Weather Resistant(WR).
-
For installation in wet locations, protect the GFCI receptacle with a weatherproof cover that will keep both the receptacle and any plunge dry. Must be installation in accordance with national and local electrical codes. Tamper resistant mechanism stops access to outie contacts unless a two prong plug is inserted.
-
For better motion sensing, the recommended installation height is 5.91-7.21feets.

Adjustment Of The Three Lighting Modes:
Install Steps:
Troubleshooting
SYMPTOM | DAY/NIGHT | MEOSSIBLE CAUS | SOLUTION |
---|
The light doesn’t work in
Test Mode| | 1 Wall switch or circuit breaker is off
2 The wiring is mistake| ‘1,Tum on a switch or circuit breaker
‘2Check wire connections
If the light isn’t on| Day| Light only work on night| Keep of all sensor for
testing
Night| Wall switch or circuit breaker is off| Turn on wall switch or circuit
breaker
Light bulb may be burned out| Test the light bulb on normal working light
fixture
Light bulb is loose| Tighten the light bulb
Incorrect or loose wire connections| Check wire connections
Too much sunlight is shining onto sensor in the early evening| Relocate
fixture away from western facing wall
Too much another light is shining onto motion sensor, such as a street lamp or
other light fixture| Eliminate or turn off other lights, block other light
shining onto motion sensor, or relocate fixture
If the light stays
on| Day| The fixture may be installed in shaded area| Only need to relocate
fixture
On cloudy or overcast days, the light may stay on longer than anticipated| Do
not adjust
Night| Still on the MANUAL Mode| Turn wall switch OFF-ON within 0.5 seconds
and adjust to AUTO Mode
False triggering caused by other heat source, such as a heater, dryer vent, or
heated swimming pool| Eliminate heat source or relocate fixture
The switch is not set in any mode| Slide it again to the mode you want
If the light is flashing| Night| The bulb is non-dimmable or the quality of
light bulb is not good| Use another normal incandescent lamp to check whether
the light
function is normal, other wise change the bulb. lt should be
standard E26 DIMMABLE led/incandescent light bulbs(up to 60W)
Passing cars and reflective objects interfere with the sensor| Relocate
fixture
In Manual Mode, the light stays on after dawn| | The ambient light level is
too low| Relocate the fixture
CAUTION
To prevent severe shock or electro caution, always turn the power OFF at the
service panel before working with the wiring. Use this GFCI receptacle with
copper or cope-clad wire .Do not use it with aluminum wire Do not install this
GFCI receptacle on a circuit that powers life support equipment because if the
GFCI trips, it will shut down the equipment For installation in damp or wet
locations, the GFCL receptacle must be Listed and marked as Weather
Resistant(WR). For installation in wet locations, protect the GFCI receptacle
with a weatherproof cover that will keep both the receptacle and any plunge
dry. Must be installation in accordance with national and local electrical
codes. Tamper resistant mechanism stops access to outie contacts unless a two-
prong plug is inserted
1 What is a GFCI?
A GFCI receptacle is different from conventional receptacles. In the event of
a ground fault, a GFCI will tip and quickly stop the flow of electricity to
prevent serious injury.
Definition of a ground fault: Instead of following its normal safe path,
electricity passes through a person’s body to reach the ground. For example, a
defective appliance can cause a ground fault.
A GFCI receptacle does not protect against circuit overload, short circuits,
or shocks. For example, you can still be shocked if you touch bare wires while
standing on a conducting surface such as cement or grease.

Motion Sensor Function and Operation
Modes Of Operation
Mode| Weeks at| ON time| Shut off delay time|
Explanation
---|---|---|---|---
| Day &Night| 20 Sec| /| Turn on the power at the main fuse or circuit
breaker box. the light will tum on immediately.
Wet for about 20 seconds to allow the sensor to warm up. then the light will
automatically enter into the TEST mode.
| Day &Night| Aes,sm.ott.timng| S± &Sec| Regardless of day or night. the light
MI turn to 30% brightness after preheating. and the light will turn to 100%
brightness after motion Is detected. then turn to 30% brightness after 5±3
seconds. After the power-on preheating time (TON) Is completed. it starts to
count and automaticaly enters the Automatc =de after the time reaches 120:30
Sec.
(Switch the power once In the test mode to automatically enter the automatic
mode)
| Night Only| As motion ends’| 12°±20 Sec| The light will auto off at dawn.
auto on to low
brightness (30% brightness) at dusk(LUX: 5-120LUX). then goes to 100%
brightness after triggered by motion. When no motion is detected. the wall
light will back to 30% brightness flexibly after 120:20 seconds. The sensing
erne can overlap.
At dawn (LUX: MAX 800LUX). the light will be
completely extinguished after 60140 seconds.
| Night Only| Manual override operate| 8±1 Hrs or
Tum off at dawn| In Auto mode, switch the power switch to enter Manual mode,
the lag will turn on and stay on for 8H±1H. or until the dusk to dawn’ sensor
detects light In the morning. After dusk to dawn sensor detects light (LUX:
MAX 800LUX) for about 60 seconds. manual mode will automatically go back to
automatic mode.(See FIG.1) Note:
1.To make sure the above functions operate property, always keep the wall
switch n the ‘Om’ position (including the daytime
Turn the wall switch ‘OFF-. wait over 10 seconds and then switch It ‘ON’
again. the Iota will revert to warm-up period again.
3 Test your work Why perform this test? If you misfire the GFCI it may not
prevent personal injury or death due to a ground fault(electrical shock). If
you mistakenly connect the LINE wires to the LOAD terminals, the GFCI will not
reset and will not provide power to either the GFCI receptacle face or any
receptacles fed from the GFCI. Procedure:
a. This GFCI is shipped from the factory in the tripped condition and cannot
be reset until the Line and Load are wired correctly and power is supplied to
the device. Turn the power ON at the service panel. Press the RESET button
fully. If the indicator(LED)glows green, you have installed the GFCI
receptacle correctly. Plug a lamp or radio into the GFl(and leave it plugged
in).Ensure that the GFCI can be tripped by pressing the TEST button. If the
GFCI receptacle cannot be reset, the indicator(LED)does not glow, and there is
no power in the lamp or radio, go to the Troubleshooting because LINE and LOAD
wiring connections have been reversed.
b. Press the test button in order to trip the device. This should stop the
flow of electricity, making the radio or lamp shut off. Note that the reset
button will pop out. If the power goes off, the green indicator(LED)goes out,
you have installed the GFCI receptacle correctly. To restore power, press the
reset button.
c. If you installed your GFCI using step 7B,plug a lamp or radio into
surrounding receptacles to see which one(s),in addition to the GFl, lost power
when you pressed the test button. Do not plug life saving devices into any
receptacles that lost power. Place a “GFCI Protected” sticker on every
receptacle that lost power.
d. Press the test button(then reset button)every month to assure proper
operation. In case the life-end indicator(Red LED)is off the GFCI will still
provide ground fault protection.
e. The GFCI includes an end-of-life monitoring function. When a GFCI
receptacle is incapable of passing its internal test function(it can no longer
provide ground fault protection),one of the following alarm indications will
be present:
i. When the GFCI reaches the end of its’ life the red indicator will turn on.
The GFCI must be replaced.
ii. If there is no power output the GFCI has reached the end fistulize. The
GFCI must be replaced
