Check for Updates
Troubleshooting
- Why is there an overheating message on my watch?
- This may happen when you start your watch in a place where signal strength is weak, and your watch is taking longer to connect to the network. In this case, take off your watch and take it to aplace with stronger signal strength.
- Why can’t I update my watch?
- A: Updating the software or firmware of your watch will fail if your watch is not connected to the charger, has less than 30% power remaining, or is without a Wi-Fi connection. Please try to connect your watch to the charger and Wi-Fi network. Then update it again after it is charged to have more than 30% battery.
- Why can’t I call my contact?
- A: This may happen if you are in a place without cellular signal. Please move to somewhere with stronger signal strength immediately.
- Why can’t I activate my watch?
A: To activate your watch, you need to purchase a cellular plan from Gabb beforehand. You may purchase it at gabb.com.activate. After making a purchase, restart your watch and run the activation again.

The RF emission limits set by FCC employ a unit of measurement known as Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), which measures the amount of RF energy absorbed by a human body when using a mobile device. The applicable SAR limit defined by FCC for mobile communication devices is 1.6 W/Kg (16 watts per kilogram). The limit is set with a substantial margin of safety to assure the safety of the public as well as to account for any change in ambient environments. Tests of SAR measurements are conducted by following standard device operating and testing positions under FCC guidelines with the device transmitting its highest certified power level across all tested frequency bands. The maximum SAR values for this device as reported to FCC are as follows:
- The highest reported mouth SAR value: 1.06W/Kg
- The highest reported wrist-worn SAR value: 2.53W/Kg
This device has received Equipment Authorization from FCC. Detailed SAR information of this device including all the reported SAR values can be found on www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccidusing the FCC ID of this device: RYQGW23. When using the watch near your face, keep a minimum separation of 10 mm to ensure exposure levels remain at or below the tested limits. This equipment complies with the FCC RF radiation exposure limits set forth for charging mode. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 centimeters between the radiator and your body.
About wrist-worn testing
To test wrist-worn SAR value, this device has been tested and meets the FCC RF
exposure guidelines for use with an accessory that contains no metal
substance. To test wrist-worn SAR value, this device has been tested and meets

Proper Product Handlings
About device water-resistance
- Your watch is water-resistant (IP68 rated)*, but not waterproof. For instance, your watch can stand rain, splash, sweat, and hand-washing, but submersion below shallow depth or high-velocity water such as diving and snorkeling is not recommended.
- It is advised to avoid submerging your watch into swimming pools and seawater, as swimming pools and sea water contain high amounts of chlorine and salt respectively, which may damage parts of your watch.
- Water resistance isn’t permanent, and the following conditions may impact the performance and should be avoided:
- Dropping your watch from an elevated place
- Impacting your watch by heavy objects
- Exposing your watch to soap or shower gel
- Exposing your watch to perfumes, solvents, detergents, pesticides, lotions, acidic liquids, or hair dye
- Exposing your watch to high ambient temperature, like wearing it in a steam room or in a sauna If your watch gets into contact with the substances mentioned above, clean it with fresh water immediately and apply dry cloth (lint-free).
- In case your watch gets wet, dry it with a lint-free cloth. If the speaker sounds muffled due to accidental submersion of the watch, don’t insert any object into the microphone or the speaker port, and don’t shake the watch to empty the water out. Simply place your watch in a place with good air circulation and away from the harmful substances mentioned above. The evaporation process will bring the speaker back to normal.
Note about IP68 protection of your watch
Your watch complies with the requirement and acceptance condition of IEC 60529
Edition 2.2: 2013 Degrees of Protection Provided by Enclosures — IP68. This
indicates that your watch meets the First Characteristic Numeral 6 for Degrees
of Protection against Access to Hazardous Parts and against Solid Foreign
Objects, and the Second Characteristic Numeral 8 for Degrees of Protection
against Ingress of Water.
Keep out of reach of small children
Do not leave your device and its accessories within the reach of small
children. Your device includes small parts that may be detached or cause a
choking hazard. They could hurt themselves or damage the device.
Beware of magnetic field
Do not expose your device to objects or equipment that has magnetic fields, for
instance, hospital’s MRIs. Magnetic field may negatively affect the proper
functionality of your electronic device. If an anomaly occurs, take your
device to authorized, trained personnel for diagnose and repair.
About charging
