Maintenance & Care:
(To be completed by a technically competent person)
-
Always disconnect from the mains power before the pump is checked.
Check that the water resevoir has sufficient water to cover the pump at all times. -
The pump must always be fully submerged in water (even when not in use) and never be permitted to run dry as this could cause permanent damage.
Also, without sufficient water, it will also cause noise. -
Do not allow the pump or water feature to freeze.
-
Regularly change the water and clean the water feature. Distilled water is best.
-
The outside of the water feature can be cleaned using a soft cloth and clean water. The resevoir can be cleaned with a soft brush. Avoid the use of detergents as this will cause the water to foam.
-
Excessive weight or pressure on any of the fountain sections may cause it to fail. Keep children, pets or adults from sitting, leaning or climbing on this product.
-
This pump must not be used in or on anything other than the water feature it is supplied with.
-
The pump supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the appliance must be discarded
Troubleshooting:
If your FOUNTAIN PUMP fails to operate please check the following:
– Is the pump connected to the power and is it switched on.
– Check the water level in the fountain. Running the pump without sufficient
water can damage the pump. Check the resevoir is at least % full of water.
Check the pump outlet nozzle and the water tube for dirt and debris. Clean if
necessary.
Make sure the pump is connected to the water tube tightly. Check the fountain
tubing for kinks and obstructions.
– The pump may be “air locked”. Plug and unplug the pump several times to
clear any air that may have been trapped.
– If the water does not flow out of the fountain, it may be caused by kinked
or loose water tubes, make sure the water tubes are connected securely Design
may be subject to change
