Product Usage Instructions
- Place the unit in the sink to catch excess water when replacing filters. Remove the threaded filter caps by turning in the direction of the arrows. To loosen, turn cap A to the right and cap B to the left.
- Remove both filters and discard. While the system housing is open, inspect each o-ring for damage. If damaged, replace immediately. If misaligned, gently move the o-ring into place.
- Unbox filter replacements and remove plastic. First, insert the A filter with the nipple-end first. Then, press and rotate to lock it in place. Install the B filter by inserting the nipple into the B cap.
- Tighten both threaded filter caps by turning cap A to the left and cap B to the right.
- Once both caps have been replaced, slowly turn on the cold water. With the system lying flat, flush the system for 10 minutes before drinking. During this time, check for leaks. Once the system is flushed and no leaks have been detected, return the system to the upright position.
Important Notes:
- Do not drink flushed water.
- Cartridges are inserted opposite of each other.
- Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown water quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
Tips:
To assist with A filter removal, you can use the old B filter to twist A and release it from the housing.
