Filter Replacement Instructions
- Shut the system off at the shut-off valve. If a bypass line is installed, bypass the system during replacement.
- Place a 5-gallon bucket under the blue housing and release pressure by turning off the pressure release port.
- Remove the blue housing by turning the lower ring to the left, using the wrench supplied with your system. Discard the used filter.
- Clean the inside of the blue housing with mild soapy water if necessary. Rinse, dry, and inspect o-ring for damage.
- Place the new filter in the center of the blue housing.
- Reattach the housing by screwing it back on and turning the pressure release post to the right. Hand tighten only.
- Flush for 2 minutes with the bucket still under the blue housing. Check for leaks.
- Turn the system back on at the shut-off valve or bypass valve after reassembly.

For use with EQ-SS20

Shut the system off at the shut-off valve. If bypass line is installed, bypass system during replacement. Open bypass valve, close inlet valve, and close outlet valve.
NOTE: If no shut-off valve or bypass line is installed, turn off main water source before replacing. -
Place a 5 gallons bucket under the blue housing and release pressure to the system by turning the pressure release port to the left.

Remove the blue housing by turning the lower ring to the left, using the wrench supplied with your system. Remove the used filter and discard.
Remove the used filter and discard. -
If necessary, clean the inside of the blue housing with mild soapy water, rinse and dry. Inspect the o-ring for any damage and replace if needed.

Place new filter in the center of the blue housing.

Reattach the housing by screwing it back onto the top piece and turn pressure release post to the right. Hand tighten only.

After reassembly, turn the system back on at the shut-off valve or bypass valve.

Flush for 2 minutes with the bucket still under the blue housing. Check for leaks.
