INTRODUCTION

Time for some roaring fun with Switch & Go® T-Rex Terrain Truck. One-touch transformation switches this rugged off-road vehicle into a tough and cool T-Rex. Press the Voice Button to hear fun phrases and cool sound effects.

WARNING
All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable tags, cable ties, cords, and packaging screws are not part of this toy and should be discarded for your child’s safety.

Please save this Instruction Manual as it contains important information.

GETTING STARTED

Battery Removal and Installation

  1. Make sure the unit is turned Off.
  2. Find the battery cover located on the bottom of the unit, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw, and then open the battery cover.
  3. Remove the old battery by pulling up on one end of each battery.
  4. Install 1 new AAA (LR03/AM-4) battery following the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended.)
  5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure it.

Note: If there is no response when the T-Rex is switched on, please install a brand-new battery and try switching the T-Rex on again.

WARNING
Adult assembly required for battery installation. Keep batteries out of reach of children.

IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION

  • Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
  • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
  • Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
  • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
  • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
  • Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES

  • Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from the toy before charging.
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.

PRODUCT FEATURES

OFF / LOW VOLUME / HIGH VOLUME SWITCH
To turn the unit On or to adjust the volume, slide the switch to the Low or High Volume position. To turn the unit Off, slide the switch to the Off O position.

VOICE BUTTON
Press Voice Button to hear fun phrases and cool dinosaur sounds in Dino mode. In Vehicle mode, press theVoice Button to hear fun phrases and great vehicle sounds.

TRANSFORMATION BUTTON
In Vehicle mode, push the Transformation Button to trigger automatic switching from Vehicle mode to Dino mode.

LED LIGHTS
The LED Lights will flash along with the sounds in Dino mode and Vehicle mode.

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the unit will automatically shut off after approximately 20 seconds without input. T-Rex Terrain Truck can be woken up again by pressing the Voice Button.

Note: If the unit powers down or if the light flashes 3 times without sounds during play, please install a new battery.

SWITCHING FROM DINO TO VEHICLE

  1. In Dino mode, flip the tail up toward the head.
  2. Flip the feet up.
  3. Simultaneously push both exhaust pipes firmly into the body until you hear a click.

SWITCHING FROM VEHICLE TO DINO

Push the Transformation Button to switch automatically from Vehicle to Dino mode.

Note : For optimal transformation from Vehicle to Dino mode, please ensure that the exhaust pipes have been pushed into the vehicle body until you hear a clicking sound.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

  1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
  2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.
  3. Remove the battery if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
  4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
  5. If the unit is not working properly, install a new battery.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:

  1. Turn the unit Off.
  2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the battery.
  3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the battery.
  4. Turn the unit back On. The unit should now be ready to use again.
  5. If the unit still does not work, insert a new battery.
