Please read these operating instructions carefully before operating the lock. We accept no liability whatsoever for malfunctions caused by incorrect adjustment or the use of force, or improper handling, or for damage to property or financial loss caused, for example, by failure to lock the safe properly.

Important Note: Never keep the supplied emergency opening key in the safe!

Entering the Codes

Entering a User Code

  1. Leave the safe door open and press the reset button C (see Fig. 3) inside the battery compartment. As soon as the yellow LEDs light up and the beeps sound, your desired code can be entered.
  2. Enter your desired user code (3 – 8 digits) and confirm the code with the * or # button.
  3. Your code is now saved. Please make a note of the code or use a code that you will not forget. Before you close the safe, test the newly saved code. If the yellow LEDs now flash and beeps sound, the code was not entered successfully. Please try again.

Entering a Master Code

  1. Leave the safe door open and press the 0 button twice and the reset button C once (see Fig. 3, inside the battery compartment). As soon as the yellow LEDs light up and the beeps sound, your desired code can be entered.
  2. Enter your desired master code (3 – 8 digits) and confirm the code with the * or # button.
  3. Your code is now saved. Please make a note of the code or use a code that you will not forget. Before you close the safe, test the newly saved code. If the yellow LEDs now flash and beeps sound, the code was not entered successfully. Please try again.

Opening the Safe with Your Code

  1. Enter your user code and then press the * button. The green LED lights up.
  2. Turn knob A (see Fig. 1) clockwise within 5 seconds of the beep sounding.
  3. To lock the safe again, close the safe door and turn knob A (see Fig. 1) anti-clockwise.

Attention: If the wrong code is entered three times, the safe locks automatically and a warning signal sounds. The keypad is now deactivated. The warning signal can now only be stopped by opening the safe with the emergency key and switching off the power supply by removing the batteries.

FAQ

  • Q: What should I do if a warning light blinks?
    A: If a warning light blinks, it indicates a problem. Please refer to the “PROBLEME” section in the user manual for possible causes and treatments.

  • Q: How many digits can the user code and master code have?
    A: The user code and master code can have 3 to 8 digits.

WARNING
WARNING! DO NOT KEEP EMERGENCY KEYS IN VAULT!
If the batteries are empty, the vault can only be opened with the emergency keys.

Commissioning / emergency opening

  • To open the safe for the first time, remove cover B over the emergency opening lock by pressing firmly on the raised area of the cover (see Fig. 1). Then insert the emergency key included in the scope of delivery into the key opening and turn the emergency key “anti-clockwise” with your right hand and hold it firmly against the stop in this position to re-lease the mechanical lock. At the same time, please turn the lever for opening the safe “clockwise” with your left hand so that the safe can be opened in an emergency.
  • Now open the battery compartment (see Fig. 2) on the inside of the door and insert the batteries included in the scope of delivery into the battery compartment (note the polarity).
  • To do this, slide the cover downwards until it can be re-moved. Now close the battery compartment.

Entering the codes

You can save user and master codes. You can use the user code to grant other people access to the safe. The master code (main code) guarantees you continued access, even if the user code has been changed.

Opening the safe with your code

Changing the batteries

  • When the batteries are low, the green and red LEDs light up together. Open the battery compartment and replace the batteries.
  • When the batteries are removed, the lock is reset directly to the factory setting and the personal opening code (user and master code) must be reprogrammed.

Switching off the sound signals
Switch off: Press the button, then the digits 633 Switch on: Press the button, then the digits 66.

Anchoring the safe

To minimise the risk of theft, the safe should be secured using the four holes in the rear panel. Appropriate anchoring material is included in the scope of delivery for anchoring in concrete. For anchoring in other substrates, equivalent anchoring materials must be used depending on the local conditions.

  1. Hold the safe in the desired position and mark the drill holes with a pencil.
  2. Drill the holes for the expansion anchors.
  3. Insert the expansion plugs into the pre-drilled holes.
  4. Now hold the safe against the holes and screw the screws through the safe into the holes.
  5. Check that the safe is secure and tighten the screws if necessary.
PROBLEMS CAUSE / TREATMENT

The opening mechanism is

difficult to operate or the safe only opens sometimes or not at all.

  • Make sure that you have entered the correct code. Press “*” or “#” after entering the code. Lock mode may be activated. Please wait 5 minutes and test again.
  • Low batteries / Please open the safe with the emergency keys and insert new batteries.

The safe opens with any code any code or the memorised code does not work.| The batteries may have been changed and no new code has been memorized. Please open the safe with the emergency keys and memorise the code again as described under 3 Entering the personal code.

Disposal of the device

  • Dear customer, at the end of the product’s service life, please dispose of it properly.

Please enquire about collection points for batteries and electrical waste at the relevant office in your town or municipality.
  • Used batteries must not be disposed of with household waste, as they can contain toxic elements and heavy metals that can be harmful to the environment and human health.
  • Consumers are therefore obliged to return batteries free of charge to retailers or local collection points. Used batteries are recycled. They contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel.
  • The symbols under the waste bin indicate the following:
    • Pb: The battery contains lead
    • Cd: The battery contains cadmium
    • Hg: The battery contains mercury
