Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Mark and Cut Installation Location

Mark the planned installation location of the diffuser on the plasterboard. Cut out a hole with a diameter of approximately 240mm. To do this, you can turn the diffuser over and outline it with a pencil. The hole should be slightly larger than the diffuser diameter to enable easy insertion later.

Step 2a: Installation with Semi-Rigid FLX Ducts

If you are using semi-rigid FLX ducts and connecting the diffuser directly to the plenum box, it is recommended to install the diffuser before installing the plasterboards.

Step 2b: Installation with Steel Ducts

If you are using steel ducts and connecting them to the diffuser using a flexible duct, install the diffuser after the plasterboards have been installed. Connect the flexible duct to the diffuser using ties. Then, insert the diffuser through the previously prepared hole.

Step 3: Stabilize the Diffuser

To stabilize the diffuser on the plasterboard, use mounting glue. Apply the glue from the bottom of the diffuser to the plaster ears.

Step 4: Fill the Gap

The gap between the diffuser body and the plasterboard should be filled with putty.

Step 5: Sand and Paint

After the putty has dried, sand any irregularities. Paint all visible parts of the diffuser and the outer cover in the same colour as the ceiling.

Step 6: Adjust Height and Secure

Use the adjustment screws and a spirit level to adjust the height of the diffuser cover to the plane of the ceiling. Secure the diffuser cover with a spring attached to one of the adjustment screws.

Step 7: Completion

Your installation is now complete!
