Rowenta DW2360 Access Stainless Steel Soleplate Steam

Product Information

  • Iron Heating Issue: If your iron is not heating up, there may be a malfunction. Please refer to the troubleshooting section in the user manual or contact our customer support for assistance.
  • Leaking from Soleplate: If your iron is leaking when filled, ensure that you set the iron to the ‘No Steam’ function before filling. This will prevent any leakage.
  • Steam Settings: Some irons can produce steam on the One dot setting, while others require the 2 dot or 3 dot setting for steam production. Check your iron’s thermostat dial for shaded backgrounds indicating steam production.
  • Steam Holes: Not all steam holes release steam. The smaller holes on the soleplate are designed to assist with gliding ability, not steam production.
  • Spray Function: If the spray function is not working, ensure that there is enough water in the tank. Fill it up as per the instructions and push the spray button several times to fill the system completely.
  • Indicator Light: The indicator light on all irons is a thermostat light. It is normal for it to turn on and off, indicating that the iron’s thermostat is working and maintaining the desired temperature. If the auto-off light blinks, gently shake the iron to disengage the auto-off function and allow it to reheat.
  • Smoke on First Use: During the initial heating of your iron, you may notice a small amount of odor and smoke. This is normal and caused by residual substances from the manufacturing process. They are harmless and will dissipate quickly.

  4. If the spray function is not working, fill the tank with the recommended quantity of water mentioned in the instructions and push the spray button several times to fill the system completely.
  5. The indicator light on the iron is normal and indicates the thermostat is working. If the auto-off light blinks, gently shake the iron to disengage the auto-off function and allow it to reheat.
  6. During the first use, you may notice smoke and odor. This is harmless and caused by residue burning off from the manufacturing process. It will dissipate quickly.

    3 possible causes:

    • There is no power in the mains socket: check that the plug is properly connected, or try to plug the iron into a different socket
    • Temperature control set too low: set the temperature control to a higher temperature
    • The automatic electronic cut-out is active: move your iron. depending on model
  • Why my Iron leaking from the soleplate when I fill it ?

    • Always set your iron to the ‘No Steam’ function before you start to fill.
  • Why isn’t my iron steaming when set on the one dot setting (depending on model)?

    • Some irons (depending on model) can produce steam when set on the One dot setting. However, the majority of our irons will only produce steam when set on the 2 dot or 3 dot setting. When you look on your iron’s thermostat dial you will notice that the 2 dot and 3 dot settings have a shaded background, this indicates that the iron will produce steam when the dial is set inside this shaded area.
  • Why does steam not come out from all of the stem holes ?

    • Not all of the steam holes release steam, the smaller holes on the soleplate that look like they might be steam holes are actually designed to assist soleplate glide ability.
  • Why isn’t my spray function on my iron working ?

    • There is not enough water in the tank. Fill it up with the quantity indicated in the instructions for use and push spray button several times to fill the system complete.
  • The indicator light keeps keeps going on and off?

    • All irons contain a thermostat light. It is normal for the thermostat to turn on and off. It indicates the thermostat is working and your soleplate is being maintained at the desired temperature. If the auto-off light blinks, you must disengage the auto-off function. This is done by gently shaking the iron which will allow the iron to reheat.
  • Why did my iron smoke on first first use ?

    • When heating your iron for the first time, you may notice a small amount of odour and smoke, this is simply the engineering residues from the manufacturing process burning off. These are harmless and will quickly disappear.
