Getting started
- Make the necessary power connections.
- The CMD DC-1, DV-1, LC-1, & PL-1 are bus-powered. These controllers will receive power when they are connected to a computer or a USB power hub.
- Connect the CMD MM-1 to the mains via the provided power adapter.
- Make the connections between the CMD module and your computer.
- Connect the USB type B connector to the CMD controller and connect the USB type A connector to the computer.
Module Mounting Plates
The CMD modules can be connected to one another via metal mounting plates located on the bottom of the units. Follow these steps to connect two or more CMD modules to create a customized control surface.
- Remove the screws on the bottom of the controller to access the metal mounting plate.
- Position the metal mounting plate between the controllers that will be connected.
- Re-fasten the plates to the controllers with the screws.
