Read this important information carefully before you use the appliance and save it for future reference.
Danger
- Use 4 x AA batteries.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the appliance before charging it.
- Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of.
- If the appliance is to be stored or unused for a long period, the batteries should be removed.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
- Never immerse the appliance in water.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Always check the appliance before you use it. Do not use the appliance or the brush heads if it is damaged or broken, as this may cause injury. Always replace a damaged part with one of the original types.
- Do not switch on the appliance when performing cleaning and maintenance on the appliance.

- This appliance is intended for sneaker cleaning. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose.
- Do not use the appliance with washing liquids containing harsh chemicals for example bleach.
- Remove rough particles on sneakers or shoes before using the appliance to perform cleaning.
- Remove the battery from the appliance when storing the appliance.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

Inserting and removing the batteries
For inserting and removing the batteries, open the cover at the back of the
appliance. Ensure that batteries are inserted with the correct polarity
indicated.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always switch off the appliance and remove the batteries before you clean the
appliance.

- This symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with normal household waste (2012/19/EU).
- This symbol means that this product contains disposable batteries which shall not be disposed of with normal household waste (2006/66/EC).
- Follow your country’s rules for the separate collection of electrical and electronic products and batteries. Correct disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and human health.
Removing disposable batteries
- To remove disposable batteries, see the instructions for placing and/or removing batteries in the user manual.
- Always remove empty disposable batteries from the product. Take any necessary safety precautions when you dispose of batteries.
