QA

Question: Why is there less water stored in the water bucket of the dehumidi r in winter?+ The temperature is low in winter and the air is dry. Compared with summer, the capacity of the dehumidifier is significantly reduced, this is not a malfunction.
Question: Why does the dehumidifier fail to run or stop running suddenly?
The dehumidifier may be full of water, or the water bucket may be installed incorrectly. Drain the water in the water bucket or reinstall the water bucket in the correct way.
When the dehumidifier is in “Dehumidification mode”, it cannot dehumidify when the ambient temperature is <5°C (40 F ) or >32°C) (90 ). The working environment temperature of the dehumidifier is 5-32 C (40-90 ¥ ), and the relative humidity is 30%-80%. The best working temperature is 16-32C (60-90F) .
Question: Why is the hot air blowing from the air supply port?
The unit extracts air from the room, the dehumidifier cools the air, the temperature drops below the condensation point, the air condenses into water droplets, and finally falls into the water bucket, and the dehumidified air is heated by unit. This can reduce energy consumption and also speed up dehumidifier, so hot air is blown out, which is not a malfunction.

Installatio

Place dehumidifier on a level surface.
Drain the water from water bucket before running.
To maintain efficiency, operate the dehumidifier in an enclosed area. Keep nearby doors and windows closed
Maintain a minimum clearance of 30 cm (12 inches) on the sides and back of the dehumidifier and
50 cm (20 inches) on the top of the dehumidifier to allow for proper air circulation
Any time the dehumidifier is placed on its back or side, it must be allowed to stand upright for 24
hours before plugging in to avoid damage to internal components.
When big noise is found during operation of this dehumidifier:
It is recommended to insert a pad or shock-absorbing rubber sheet under the dehumidifier, which can reduce vibration and noise, and can also reduce the pressure on the wooden floor or carpet.

Operating methods

Timer Setting

  1. Press the TIMER button once, the TIMER indicator will iluminate and the LCD turn to display as 00 and flash;
  2.  Press the TIMER button repeatedly to change the delay timer at 1-hour increments, up to 24 hours;
  3.  After selecting the target timer value, wait for 5 seconds to let the setting be registered automatically.
Timer off: Once the desired time s over, the unit will automatically power OFF.
Timer on: Once the desired time is reached, the nit will automatically turn ON

AUTO mode

Select AUTO dehumidification, if the room humidity is 5% higher than the set humidity, the compressor will starts and the fan will run at the set speed. If the room humidity is 5% lower than the set humidity, then the compressor will stop but the fan will run at the set speed. If the room humidity is between
+5% t0 -5% of the set humidity, the unit runs in original state. The default set humidity value is 50%.

DRYING function

Select DRYING mode, the compressor runs despite the humidity status in room. The fan runs at high speed by default, the wind speed is adjustable.

Drainage

Use of water tank

When the water tank is full of water, the full water icon on LCD flashes (the compressor and fan will stop running), the BUZZER sounds to remind the user till water is drained

  • Grip each side of the bucket and pull – Gently Re-insert the bucket, restart it to remove the bucket from the dehumidifier, and remove pour the water.

  • Gently Re-insert the bucket, restart it

  1. Note: Check inside the bucket to make sure the float system is in the correct position. If not, place the float in the correct position.
The float in the bucket is essential to the “bucket full” system working properly.
Do not remove the float and make sure the float can rotate freely.

  2. Continuous drainage
Water can be automatically emptied into a floor drain by attaching the included drain hose.
(NOTE: You can use any other hoses with inner diameter of 0.35 inches instead.)

  3. Find the water outlet position, then pull down the plug.

  4. Attach one end of drain hose to the drain port securely.

  5. Direct the other end of the hose down to a suitable drainage facility, like a floor drain. The drainage facility should be lower than the drain outlet of the dehumidifier

  6. The external pipe shall not be too long.

Note:

  • Make sure the connection is tight and there is no leaking.
  • Be sure to run the water hose sloping downward to let the water flow out smoothly. No kinks or bent.
  • f the condensation water would be drained out to an external container via the hose, be sure NOT to submerge the other end of the hose into the drained out water.
  •  To improve gravity draining, you can raise the dehumidifier onto another higher and flat surface, like atable.
  • Itis recommended to use a short hose. If the drain hose is oo long, water may not drain completely, which can lead to stagnant water and mildew build up inside the hose
  • When the continuous drain feature is not being used, remove the drain hose from the outlet.

Maintenance

Note:

  1. To avoid possible electric shock, ensure to turn the dehumidifier off and disconnect the plug from the power source before before performing any cleaning or maintenance.
  2. If you do not use the dehumidifier for a long time, please disconnect power supply.
  3. Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasives to clear the unit.
  4. Do not splash water directly onto the dehumidifier. Doing so may cause an electric shock or theinsulation to deteriorate, or cause the dehumidifier to rust.
  5. The air intake and outlet vents get soiled easily, so use a vacuum attachment or brush to clean.
  • Please clean the bucket and its cover regularly to prevent mold inside the dehumidifier.

  • Gently wipe the surface of the equipment with a wet cloth. Do not use detergent or abrasive to avoid damaging the plastic surface.

  • Clean the filter frame with cold or warm water atleast once every two weeks.

Follow the steps below to clean the filter:

  • The air filter is located behind the rear intake grill. Remove the intake grill from the dehumidifier and take the filter out.
  •  Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to remove any large debris or dust build-up from the air filter.
  • Wash the filter in lukewarm, soapy water, below 40°C (104°F), or use a neutral cleaning agent
  • Rinse the filter with clean water and dry thoroughly.
  • Re-install the filter.

NOTE: Do not clean the filter in a dishwasher. Do not operate the humidifier without the included filter in place.
