60565XR Wireless Remote Control

Remote Controller Bracket Installation (for 60560XR & 60560XRV24)

  1. Take off mounting bracket from the Remote Controller. Secure mounting bracket on selected location with the two (2) M4 12mm length self-tapping screws that come with the product. See Fig.1.
  2. Put back the Remote Controller to mounting bracket.
    Provide water and weather protection for the location where Remote Controller bracket is installed.

Operation

Remote Controller (Model 60565XR for 60560XR/60560XRV24)

  1. Press power button to turn on/off the Searchlight.
  2. Press white dot button to control rotation and tilt of the Searchlight.
  3. The speed button is for horizontal rotation only, there are two speeds(fast/slow) for use.
  4. See Fig. 2 for Remote Controller panel instruction.

Remote Controller Setup and Pairing (For setting up new or multiple Remote Controllers)
The Searchlight can be operated by one or multiple Remote Controllers. Pairing procedures makes the Searchlight accept signals from a Remote Controller. Each Remote Controller has unique electronic signals and only works with a Searchlight after pairing has been done.

  1. Check that the Remote Controller has battery installed.
  2. When Searchlight is connected to power, it enters pairing mode allowing pairing with nearby Remote Controllers within appx. 3 meters for 10 minutes. If the Searchlight has been connected previously, you will need to disconnect it from the power source first and connect again (if the Searchlight is not connected to a switch, try turn the battery switch off and on again).
  3. Bring Remote Controller near the Searchlight within appx. 3 meters. Press and hold the controller’s power button for 5 seconds. The controller’s LED indicator will flash and stay lit when pairing is done.
  4. If pairing fails (LED indicator keeps flashing), please restart/reconnect the Searchlight to power and try repeating pairing process.
  5. Searchlight will exit pairing mode automatically after about 10 minutes. Meanwhile it can be operated normally using the Remote Controller.

Caution

Model 60560X series have over-heating protection. Upon activation of over- heating protection, the product will turn off 6, 12, or all LED. The product will resume normal operation after 30 to 60 minutes typically. Continuous operation for more than two (2) hours should be avoided.
DO NOT try to operate the product beyond angular range as it will damage the product.
DO NOT press or hit the glass front cover.
DO NOT look directly into the Searchlight while the product is in operation.
DO NOT cover the light with any material, otherwise accidental activation of the product may result in fires.

Maintenance

How to conduct general care …

  1. Use diluted neutral cleanser for general cleaning.
    Do not use other chemicals or abrasives.

  2. No need to provide additional lubrication.

How to replace or add Joystick Controllers …
Please contact your dealer to purchase a new and same model Joystick Controller, and its accessories for connection to the Searchlight.
For extension purpose or dual operation purpose, please see Joystick Controller Extension (Optional Accessories).

How to replace battery for Remote Controller …

  1. Remove Remote Controller from bracket.
  2. Loosen the four (4) screws from back cover of Remote Controller.
  3. Carefully dissemble Remote Controller, see details in Fig.3.
  4. Replace a new 12V / A23 battery into the placement with correct poles.
  5. Put back Remote Controller components and tighten screws.
  6. Push any button to check if the LED indicator works and try to operate the Searchlight.
