**** Safety
- Read this instruction manual carefully.
- Observe the instructions for the main unit.
Only use the accessories:
- with a hand blender MSM4B…, MSM6M….
- for applications described in these instructions.
▶ Never touch the edges of the blades with bare hands.
▶ Care should be taken when handling sharp blades, emptying the container and
during cleaning.
▶ Never touch the sharp blades and edges with bare hands.
▶ Only ever take hold of the cutter inserts or cutting grids by the rim.
▶ Do not reach into the filling shaft.
▶ Only use the pusher to push down ingredients.
▶ Only attach and remove accessories once the drive has stopped and the
appliance has been unplugged.
▶ Only use the accessories once fully assembled.
▶ Never operate the multifunctional accessory without having fitted and
secured the gear attachment.
▶ Be careful when processing hot food.
▶ Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor as it can be
ejected out of the container due to a sudden steaming.
Avoiding material damage
▶ Never immerse the gear attachment in liquids and never clean under running
water or in the dishwasher.
▶ Never use the universal accessory container in the microwave or oven.
▶ Do not insert objects into the container or filling shaft, e.g. wooden
spoons, knives.
▶ Do not apply great force with the pusher.
▶ Never use the blender foot in the container of the multifunction accessory.
▶ Fully lock the main unit on the accessory with a click.

Multifunctional accessory
The multifunctional accessory is suitable for kneading, cutting and shredding
food.
Notes
- Remove hard pieces of food before processing, e.g. gristle, bones, sinews or stones from stone fruit.
- The multifunctional accessory is not suitable for cutting up very hard ingredients, e.g. coffee beans, nutmegs, radishes or frozen food.

Universal blade/kneading hook
The universal blade is suitable for cutting up food, e.g. meat, hard cheese, onions, garlic, fruit, vegetables, herbs, nuts and almonds. The kneading hook is suitable for kneading small amounts of dough.

Note: If the gear attachment is a bit stiff to fit, turn the three-piece
coupling on the underside of the attachment slightly and try again.
Carrier disc with cutter inserts
The carrier disc with cutter inserts is suitable for cutting, shredding and
grating food, e.g. fruit, vegetables and cheese.

Note: The cutter inserts are not suitable for cutting up very hard foods,
e.g. Parmesan cheese or chocolate.
The cutter inserts are only partly suitable for cutting up fibrous foods, e.g.
leeks, celery or rhubarb.
Using the carrier disc with cutter inserts

Note: Finish processing and empty the container before the processed food
reaches the underside of the carrier disc.
Dicer
The cube cutter is suitable for dicing food, e.g. for salads, soups and
desserts:
- vegetables, e.g. carrots, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, onions, beetroot
- fruit, e.g. bananas, apples, pears, strawberries, melon, kiwifruit
- eggs
- cheese, e.g. Gouda, Emmental
- soft pork sausage, e.g. mortadella
Notes
- Do not process very soft or very hard cheese, e.g. mozzarella, feta, Parmesan.
- Do not process fruit and vegetables that are too ripe or the juice may escape.
- Leave cooked food to cool in the refrigerator before cutting up.
Recommendation for optimum results:
- Use the large cutting grid to process softer food, e.g. strawberries, boiled potatoes, potatoes, eggs.

Note: Finish processing and empty the container before the processed food
reaches the underside of the cube cutter.
Application examples
Always observe the maximum quantities and processing times in the tables.
Multifunctional accessory
Note: After each operating cycle let the appliance cool down to room
temperature.

Sample recipes
Bread dough
- 250 g flour
- 140 ml water
- 7 g sugar
- 7 g margarine
- 0.5 g yeast
- 4 g salt
Preparation
- Insert the kneading hook and prepare the multifunctional accessory for processing.
- Add all ingredients except the water to the container.
- Mix the ingredients at maximum speed.
- After several seconds pour the water through the feed tube.
- Process everything at maximum speed.
- Maximum switch-on time: 1.5 minutes
- Process no more than this quantity each time.
Note: After each operating cycle let the appliance cool down to room
temperature.
“Stolichny” salad (serves 2)
- 150 g mortadella
- 3 boiled potatoes
- 2 pickled gherkins or marinated cucumbers
- 1 boiled carrot
- 75 g petit pois
- Salt and pepper
Dressing
- 1/4 carton sour cream
- 1/4 jar mayonnaise
Preparation
- Insert the cube cutter and prepare the multifunctional accessory for processing.
- Dice the cooked but cooled potatoes, carrot, mortadella and cucumbers at maximum speed.
- Mix all diced ingredients in a salad bowl with the peas.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Dress with sour cream and mayonnaise.
