CLEANING

The platter and outside case may be cleaned with a DAMP cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasives, harsh detergents or splash with water.

KEYBOARD OPERATOR

The keyboard for each model serves different functions such as pricing by weight computation, standard computation, price only computation, weight only computation, price by count computation, price by multiple pounds computation, auto print function, and price by pound computation. Specific keys and sequences are used for these operations.

ACTIONS

The actions column details the sequence of operations like touching print, entering price per count, touching hold, etc., and indicates which action will result in data being displayed or a label being printed.

SAMPLE LABELS

Sample labels are shown to illustrate how the label will appear after the various actions. Labels include information such as net weight/count, unit price, total price, and a date along with a reminder to keep refrigerated if necessary.

KEYBOARD OPERATOR 1840 PLU

The 1840 PLU model provides additional functionality such as standard computation, weight-only computation, and price look-up (PLU) computation. There are also instructions for loading prices into memory.

ACTIONS

This section provides instructions for using the touch print and clear functions, as well as entering the price per pound for the 1840 PLU model.
