SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

  • a) Read all instructions.
  • b) Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged.
  • c) Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
  • d) Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling disassembling or cleaning.
  • e) Never operate the juicer when the bowl is empty.
  • f) CAUTION: Do not operate this appliance for anything other than its Intended use.
  • g) Always ensure the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the voltage in your home.
  • h) Check the power cord and plug regularly for any damage. If the cord or plug are damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person
  • i) Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. If the supply cord is damaged, it me be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  • j) Do not immerse the main body, power cord or plug in water or other liquids.
  • k) Never place the juicer in close proximity to a heat source such as, gas or electric cookers. Never place the juicer in an oven.
  • I) Use of an extension cord is not recommended with this product.
  • m) Always place the juicer on a stable level surface. Always place the juicer at the back of your kitchen counter top.
  • n) Never handle or operate the appliance with wet hands.
  • o) Take care when handling the centrifugal bowl as it contains sharp elements.
  • p) Never open the juicer or touch any internal parts of the juicer until it has come to a full stop. Never stick your fingers into the spout or funnel of the juicer.
  • q) Never use your fingers or any utensils to push food into the juicer. Only use the supplied plunger.
  • r) Never leave the juicer running non-stop for more than 1 minute at a time. If the appliance has been running continuously for 1 minute allow it to cool down for 5 minutes before using again.

USING YOUR DEVICE

  • a) Before using your fruit juicer for the first time or after storing, your juicer will need to be cleaned to remove any dust or dirt.

  • b) ASSEMBLY:
    Slot the spout housing onto the main body. Grip the sides of the centrifugal bowl and slot it on to the drive shaft in the top of the main body. NOTE: you may need to rotate the centrifugal bowl to align it with the drive shaft in the main body. Once they are aligned, push down on the centrifugal bowl until it locks in place with a ‘clunk’.

  • Slot the funnel housing onto the main body. NOTE: Ensure the safety switch on the funnel housing is inserted into the slot in the top of the main body otherwise the juicer will not work.

  • Pushdown on the top of the funnel housing and lift the locking handle upwards until it is vertical and locked in place.

  • Slot the pulp container under the back of the funnel housing then slide the bottom of the pulp container onto the stand on the main body.

  • Slot the plunger into the funnel in the top of the funnel housing. Your juicer is now ready for use.

  • d) PREPARING FRUIT & VEGETABLES:
    Always wash your fruit and vegetables before juicing them. Always remove large seeds, pips or peel before placing the fruit or vegetables in the juicer as they may damage or block the centrifugal bowl. Cut larger fruits and vegetables into smaller pieces fit easily into the funnel.

d) SELECTING CORRECT SPEED:

CLEANING AND CARE

  • a) Before cleaning the juicer ensure it is unplugged and cooled down before cleaning.
  • b) Clean the motor housing with a slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent if needed. NEVER immerse the motor housing in water or any other liquid.
  • c) The detachable parts, centrifugal bowl, cover, pulp container, spout housing, funnel housing and juice cup can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher.
  • d) WARNING: Repeated cleaning in a dishwasher may lead to the finish on the parts becoming dull from small scratches.Take care when washing the centrifugal bowl as it has very sharp cutters centrifugal bowl.
  • e) Do not use any form of strong or abrasive cleaning product as they will damage the juicer.
  • f) Do not use a scouring pad to clean the juicer as it will scratch the surfaces.
  • g) Before reassembling the juicer ensure it is completely dry and clean.
  • h) NEVER store the juicer if it’s dirty or wet.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Storage

  • Store the appliance in a cool, dry and clean place, out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Please keep the packaging for transporting the appliance or for storing your appliance when not in use for a prolonged time period.

Disposal:

  • This product must not be disposed together with the domestic waste.
  • This product has to be disposed at an authorized place for recycling of electrical and electronic appliances. By collecting and recycling waste, you help save natural resources, and make sure the product is disposed in an environmental friendly and healthy way.

WARRANTY.DETAILS

This product is guaranteed under the premise of a 1 year limited warranty period, applicable to the original purchaser and not transferable to a third party user. Repair or replacement of defective parts are at the seller’s discretion. In the event that repair isn’t possible, the seller will replace the product/ part. If product repair/ replacement won’t suffice, the seller has the option of refunding the cash value of the product or component returned. Product defects not covered under the warranty provisions include normal wear and damage incurred from use or accidental negligence, misuse of instruction specifications, or repair by unauthorized parties. The manufacturing company is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages incurred by such circumstances.
