Healthkeep 280 Digital Body Weight Scale

Wireless Body Composition Smart Scale is a body analyzer that measures weight, and it uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology to estimate body fat percentage and other body composition data. It is intended for home use only.

Requires APP to experience full features. Compatible with iOS and Android devices. iOS 8.0 or later/ Android 4.3 or later.

WARNING

Please read carefully before use

• Do not use it if you have a pacemaker, or artificial lung, or wear an ECG, or any kind of internal medical device.
• Do not use on slippery floors; do not use when your body is wet.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Your body composition data measurements may not be accurate when using the scale immediately after heavy physical activities.
• The scale is best suited for adults over the age of 18. (Children between 0-9 may avail themselves of weight and BMI data, teenagers 10-17 of weight, BMI, and body fat percentage, but other data are best served as reference).
• The Smart Scale should not be used to diagnose or treat any medical condition. Always consult your physician or medical professionals to determine what is ideal for you.

Measurement Tips

Read these tips to help you get the most accurate measure­ments:

• This product employs BIA (bioelectrical impedance analysis) technology. To have accurate and consistent measurement results, please use it at the same time during the day and under the same conditions as much as possible. Please avoid taking measurements:
  • During or immediately after strenuous exercises
  • After a heavy meal
  • Immediately after a shower, bath, or sauna
  • With heavy alcohol consumption
  • During pregnancy
  • During fever
• During the test, please be barefooted and stand straight. Wearing socks may not get you an accurate result. Dirty feet may also affect the accuracy of the measurement.
• Weight units can be changed from pound (lb) to kilogram (kg), or vice versa, via the mobile APP program. The height unit will also change accordingly (meter vs. foot/inch).
• Measure weight correctly: place the scale flat on a hard floor and reset it before taking measurements. The weight should display 0.0 kg/lb. before stepping on the scale.
• Measure body fat and other body composition parameters correctly: Stand straight on the scale, and have both feet uniformly touch the electrodes as the figure below.

Power On Scale

• Your Smart Scale is shipped with 2 AAA batteries. Install the batteries inside the battery compartment and your scale is power on.
• With batteries installed, you can check your body weight by stepping on it. However, to measure other body composi­tion data such as bodyfat percentage, you need to use your Smart Scale together with your smartphone.To learn how to install mobile application program on your mobile devices, see next section.

APP Install and Measurement

The Smart Scale connects wirelessly to your mobile phones. To do so, your mobile devices need to install our recommended mobile application program. The easiest way to download the mobile APP is to use your phone to scan the QR code on following page. Follow the instructions to experience the complete feature of the scale.

Step 1: Download the APP

• Scan QR code or search APP  “Healthkeep” or “Feelfit” in Apple Store or Google Play to download mobile APP
• Register

Step 2: Pairing scale with 1he APP

• Turn on bluetooth of phone Enter my device/Add new device/Pair device
• Install battery cells and step on scale
• Pairing scale to APP

The pairing is automatic once you step on the scale, otherwise you should connect the scale manually in the Setting menu of the APP.

Note: Device running Android 6.0 will require enabling Location Access for the pairing to work.

Step 3: Measure and check the body analysis report

• Quick-step on the scale for calibration (can be done anytime)
• Step on again until the display number is stabilised
• Check the body analysis report in the APP

Number flashes twice indicates weight test finishes. Number 0 rolls to the right then stablises indicates the bodyfat test has also completed.
