Product Introduction

  1. Powering On/Off
    • To power on the CD player, press and hold the power button until the display lights up. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.

Lens

Charge the battery

  1. Slide the power ON/OFF switch to OFF position.
  2. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the player and to the USB DC SV charging port.
    • The Battery icon on the display switches from low to high level repeatedly. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge the battery.
    • When the battery is fully charged, the Battery icon on the display stops switching and displays a full charge level.

NOTES:

  • If the Battery icon on the display is empty and flashing, it means the battery is running low and needs to be recharged soon.
  • Disconnect your CD Player from the charger when fully charged. Do not charge your CD Player for extended periods.

  • Slide the OFF/ON switch to the ON position to power on the player, and slide back to the OFF position to power off.
  • NOTES: After the player is turned off, please wait for 2-3 seconds to turn it on again.

Selecting playback modes

  • Press the M button to select different playback modes between the CD player and the USB player.
  • Tl PS: The player changes to CD player mode whenever the player is powered on.

Adjusting the volume

  • Turn the VOL. dial to increase or decrease volume.
  • TIPS: The unit will save volume adjustment unless the power supply has been cut off. In the case that the power supply has been cut off, it will reset the volume to the original factory settings.

Using headphones

You can connect the supplied headphones to the LINE OUT O jack for private listening.
NOTES:

  • Always turn down the volume before connecting your headphones.
  • When using headphones/earphones, the built-in speakers of the player will automatically be muted.
  • Avoid using headphones/earphones at high volume. Hearing experts advise against continuous, loud, and extended play. If you experience a ringing in your ears reduce volume or discontinue use.

Selecting sound effect (EQ} presets

  • Press the EQ button repeatedly to select your desired sound effect (EQ) preset. Selections include Flat, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Classic.

Selecting repeat playback modes

  1. During CD or USB playback, press the REP/PROG button to cycle through the playback modes.
    • The following appears on the display:
    • Flashing -Repeat the current track
    • Solid -Repeat all tracks
    • -Repeat all tracks in the current folder (MP3 CDs or USB sticks only)
    • RAND- Random playback
    • INTRO- Introductory playback
    • Tips: When INTRO playback mode is selected, the CD player will play only a short portion of each track as an introduction, allowing you to preview the beginning of each song. Once the intro portion of a track is finished, the player moves on to the next track, and the process continues until all tracks have been previewed.
  2. To cancel repeat mode, press REP/PROG until the INTRO icon disappears on the display.

Playing CDs

You can play standard and 3″ audio CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs.
CAUTION: Do not try to play DVDs or VCDs. You may damage your unit.

  1. Slide the power OFF/ON switch to the ON position.
  2. Press the M button to select CD player mode.
  3. The display shows “CD”. 3 Slide OPEN to open the lid.
  4. Place the CD on the tray and close the lid.
  5. Play starts automatically. If not, press –
    • To pause, press Press again to resume play.
    • To stop, press .
    • To select the next/previous item, press (next) or (previous).
    • To start a search within audio, press and hold (next) or (previous).

NOTES:

  • This product is designed to play back discs that conform to the Compact Disc (CD) standard.
  • This CD player can play CD-Rs/CD-RWs recorded in the Compact Disc Digital Audio (Audio CD) format, but playback capability may vary depending on the quality of the disc and the condition of the recording device.
  • A disc with insufficient storage capacity may not playback properly.
  • If a CD is inserted incorrectly, is dirty, or is damaged, or is not present at all, “nod” appears on the display.
  • To prevent damage to the CD, never open the lid while the CD is rotating, and never touch the lens.

Playing USB flash drives

MP3/WMNWAV files recorded on a USB flash drive can be played with the unit.

  1. Slide the power OFF/ON switch to the ON position.
  2. Press the M button to select USB player mode. The display shows “USB”.
  3. Connect the USB flash drive to the USB port. Make sure that you insert your USB drive into the USB port.
  4. 4 Play starts automatically. If not, press .
    • To pause, press .i1. Press again to resume play.
    • To stop, press .
    • To select the next/previous item, press (next) or (previous).
    • To start a search within audio, press and hold (next) or (previous).

NOTES:

  • Not all USB flash drives are supported.
  • Supports USB flash drives of a maximum capacity of up to 128GB.
  • FAT32 file systems are supported (NTFS not supported).
  • Supports MP3/WMA/WAV audio files only.
  • USB hubs are not supported.
  • Do not connect the unit’s USB port to a USB port on your computer.
  • The USB flash drives will only fit in one direction.

Programming playback

You can program the player to play up to 99 tracks in your favorite order.

  1. During CD or USB playback, press to stop.
  2. Press the REP/PROG Button. “PROG 1 –“will appear on the display and blink.
  3. Select the first specific track to be programmed by pressing the or 1+1 buttons repeatedly.
  4. Press the REP/PROG Button to store the selected track in the memory.
  5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to select the tracks in your favorite order.
  6. Press the to start program playback. The program indicator “PROG” will stop blinking.
  7. To stop playback, press the .
  8. To erase the program, press the again in stop mode. The program indicator will disappear from the display.

Using Bluetooth transmitter

You can use the Bluetooth transmitter feature to transmit audio wirelessly via Bluetooth to a Bluetooth-enabled receiving device, such as Bluetooth wireless headphones or speaker.

  1. During CD or USB playback, press the BT TX button to turn on the Bluetooth transmitter. “ ” appears and flashes on the display, indicating that the Bluetooth transmitter is turned on and in pairing mode.
  2. Set your Bluetooth headphones or speaker to Bluetooth pairing mode, and make sure they are not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
  3. Move the Bluetooth device as close as possible to the CD player, they will automatically establish a Bluetooth connection.
    • NOTE: The built-in speakers are automatically muted when a Bluetooth connection is established.
  4. Press the BT TX button again to turn off the Bluetooth transmitter. If no connection is established and no operation is done to the player within 1 minute, the Bluetooth transmitter will automatically be turned off. “ ” disappears on the display. The built-in speakers resume playback.

NOTE:

  • For the pairing procedure on the Bluetooth headphones or speaker, refer to your headphones or speaker’s instruction manual.
  • If you are trying to pair an Apple AirPod, reset it before pairing.
  • Before pairing, try to turn off the Bluetooth function of another device (s) nearby that you are not intended to connect.
  • The Bluetooth transmitter works with Bluetooth-receiving devices only, not with transmitting devices such as phones, tablets, laptops, or computers.
  • Not all Bluetooth car stereos are supported due to some compatibility issues.

CAUTION: Do not try to repair the CD player yourself. Doing so will invalidate your warranty.

Maintaining your CD Player Care and handling of discs Handling discs

  • Do not touch the playback side of the disc.
  • Hold the disc by the edges so that fingerprints do not get on the surface.
  • Never stick paper or tape on the disc.

Storing discs

  • After playing, store the disc in its case.
  • Do not expose the disc to direct sunlight or sources of heat and never leave it in a parked car exposed to direct sunlight.

Cleaning discs

  • Fingerprints and dust on the disc can cause poor sound quality and distortion.
  • Before playing, clean the disc with a clean cloth. Wipe the disc from the center out.
  • Do not use strong solvents such as alcohol, benzine, thinner, commercially available cleaners, or anti-static spray intended for older vinyl records.

Cleaning the CD lens

  • If your CD lens gets dirty it can cause poor sound quality.
  • To clean the lens you will need to purchase a CD lens cleaner which can maintain the output sound quality of your system.
  • For instructions on cleaning the CD lens, refer to the literature accompanying the lens cleaner.

Cleaning your CD Player

  • To prevent fire or shock hazards, disconnect your CD Player from the AC power source when cleaning.
  • The finish on your CD Player may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared for as other furniture.
  • Use caution when cleaning and wiping the plastic parts.
  • Mild soap and a damp cloth may be used on the front panel.
