Important Safety Precautions

Before operating the Thermo-Poultry Brooder, please read and adhere to the following safety precautions:

  • Do not immerse the brooder, power cord, or appliance in water or any other liquid.
  • Keep the power cord out of the shelter.

Assembly

  1. Run the power cord through the center hole in one of the end braces. Refer to Figure 1.
  2. Choose the appropriate holes for the desired height of the
    heater panel. Align the connectors on the heater panel with the corresponding holes on the end braces. See Figure 2.

Brooding Chicks

The Thermo-Poultry Brooder is designed to provide a comfortable environment for small chicks. Follow the steps below:

  1. For small chicks, utilize the tilt option by positioning the front of the heater panel taller and leaning toward the back. This allows the baby chicks to stay towards the front or back, depending on the desired level of warmth.
  2. As your chicks grow, you can easily adjust the height of the heater panel by choosing the next set of adjustment holes.

Cleaning

To clean the Thermo-Poultry Brooder, follow these steps:

  1. Wipe down the brooder with a soap solution and a damp cloth.
  2. Thoroughly dry the brooder before using it again.

The K&H Thermo-Poultry Brooder’s easy adjustable height, coupled with the special “tilt” option, make it the most chick-friendly brooder on the market.
For small chicks, utilize the tilt option so the front of the heater is taller and leans toward the back. The baby chicks will stay toward the front or back depending on the level of warmth desired.

  • Always make sure the cord exits your chick’s enclosure. Keep cord out of the shelter.

Cleaning
Your THERMO-POULTRY BROODER may be wiped down with a soap solution and a damp cloth. Thoroughly dry before using.

Our warranty is as follows: K&H Pet Products warrants to the original consumer, that this product will be free of defects and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. The manufacturer’s liability hereunder is limited to the replacement of the product.
