Read these instructions carefully before assembly and use and keep for future reference. The child may be hurt if you do not follow these instructions. Adult assembly required. Before using, remove and dispose of any plastic bags and other packaging (e.g. fasteners, fixing ties, etc.) and keep them out of reach of children.

WARNING! This product is suitable for one child able to sit up unaided, approximately from 6 months of age. It is not intended for children weighing more than 12kg or is more than 81.2cm tall.

WARNING! Do not use this activity centre if it is damaged or broken.

WARNING! NEVER LEAVE THE CHILD UNATTENDED. Always keep the child in view while in the activity centre.

WARNING! Use only on flat surfaces free of objects that could cause the activity centre to tip over.

WARNING! To avoid burns, keep the child away from hot liquids, ranges, radiators, space heaters, fire places, etc.

WARNING! STAIR HAZARD: AVOID SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. Never use the activity centre near stairs. A child’s movement can slide the activity centre.

WARNING! Do not allow children who can stand or walk on their own to use the activity centre.

  • Never move the unit while the child is in the activity centre seat.
  • Do not add any strings or straps to any part of the activity centre.
  • Do not use any hardware or parts other than that supplied.
  • Never move the activity centre while the child is in the seat.
  • Do not swing or spin child in the activity centre.

FALL HAZARD

Babies can FALL from product resulting in head injuries.

  • NEVER leave child unattended. Always keep child in view while in the activity centre.
  • NEVER use near stairs.
  • To avoid tip over, place product on a flat, level surface.

STRANGULATION HAZARD

Strings can cause STRANGULATION.

  • DO NOT place items with a string around child’s neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords.
  • DO NOT suspend strings over product or attach strings to toys.
  • This product contains small parts. Adult assembly required.
  • For indoor use only.

This product complies to ASTM F2012-18e1.

Battery Safety

ATTENTION! BATTERY SAFETY: KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

CAUTION: To prevent possible battery leakage, be sure to follow the guidelines outlined below:

  • Alkaline batteries are recommended for longer battery life.

  • Do not mix old and new batteries.

  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon zinc) or rechargeable batteries

  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

  • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.

  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

  • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.

  • Batteries are to be inserted correctly by matching the + and – polarity markings.

  • Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.

  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

  • Dispose of exhausted batteries properly.

  • Remove batteries when product is stored for long periods of time.

    • Use a small cross head screwdriver to open the battery compartment door on toy.
    • Insert the batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment door and re-attach the battery compartment door with screws.
  •  Always keep batteries away from children.

  • Do not store batteries in areas that have extreme temperatures (such as attics, garages, or automobiles).

  • Weak batteries cause erratic product operation, including distorted sound.
    Because each electrical component requires a different operating voltage, replace the batteries when any function fails to operate.

  • Keep liquids away from the product. Spillage could affect the sound or operation.

  • Do not dispose of product or batteries in fire as batteries may explode or leak.

THIS PRODUCT PRODUCES FLASHES THAT MAY TRIGGER EPILEPSY IN SENSITISED INDIVIDUALS.

This product requires 2 x AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included).

Assembly

Requirements:

  • Equipment: Phillips-head screwdriver

Tips before you start:

  1. Please check that all parts are present before you start the assembly of the product.
  2. Assembly to be carried out by a competent adult only.
  3. During assembly, children should be kept away from the product due to possible risk of injury.
  4. For ease and speed of assembly, we recommend that before you commence each step of the assembly, that you identify all the parts required for that step.
  5. Please ensure that you have sufficient space and people to assemble the product safely.
  6. We recommend that, where possible, all items are assembled near to the area in which they will be placed in use, to avoid moving the product unnecessarily once assembled.
  7. For the protection of the product, we recommend that the product is placed on a protected surface during assembly to prevent any damage.
  8. During assembly, please take care not to over-tighten any fittings, as this may damage the product.
  9. Always place the product on a flat, steady and stable surface.
  10. Do not stand on the product. Do not use the product as a step ladder.
  11. This product is intended for indoor, household use only as it is a non-industrial product.
  12. Usage of power tools is not recommended for assembling this product.
  13. Please use caution and care when lifting the product to avoid personal injury and / or damage.
Frame Assembly
  1. Unpack all contents and check that all parts are present before starting assembly. Please refer to parts list.
    Place the base (B) on a solid flat surface with the 3 leg connectors facing upwards. Insert the legs (D) into the leg connectors and ensure the button slots through the allocated holes.

  2. Attach the toy tray (A) to the legs.
    Ensure the buttons slot through the allocated holes.

Battery Installation

  1. a. The activity toy tray (G) requires 2 x AA alkaline batteries (not included).
    Use a screw driver to unfasten the battery cover. Insert batteries. Secure battery cover back into position.
    WARNING! Remove batteries before storing the toy tray and activity centre.

3b. Slide the switch on the activity toy tray to ON to activate the electronic features. Press the various buttons for sounds and melodies. Slide the same switch to the OFF position to turn off the electronic features.
The VOLUME switch is also located on the activity toy tray.

Toy Tray Assembly

  1. a. Insert the toys (H) (I) (J) (K) (L) (M) into the allocated slots around the activity centre top tray. Push down firmly until they “click” into place.

4b. Connect the activity toy tray (G) to the top tray.
Align the notches at the front and press in the buttons at the rear to secure the activity toy tray.
Press in these buttons to remove the activity toy tray.

Seat Unit Assembly

  1. a. Attach the backrest (E) to the seat ring (F). Push down on the seat backrest to connect the notch into the seat ring. A “click” will signal it is secure.

5b. To attach the seat pad (C), push the crotch part of the seat pad inside out to form the seat.
Place the seat pad over the assembled backrest and ring ensuring the tall and short sides align.
5c. Attach all 8 plastic tabs found around the seat pad onto the hooks of the seat ring.
WARNING! Ensure you have installed the seat unit correctly and all the tabs are secured on the hooks before continuing.

Seat Unit Assembly

  1. Insert the assembled seat unit into the top tray and push down to secure.

Height Adjustment

To adjust the height, remove baby from the activity centre. Press in the buttons on the legs and move the legs up or down to desired height.

There are 3 height positions.

WARNING! Do not adjust height when baby is in the activity centre.
WARNING! Ensure leg buttons are secure in the leg connectors before placing baby in the activity centre.
WARNING! Ensure all legs are at the same height before placing baby in the activity centre.

Ensure the seat height is at the right height for your baby.
The top of the baby’s feet should lightly touch the ground when they are sitting in the activity centre.

Rocking or Stationary

Fold the 3 stabilizers out from under the base to use the activity centre in a stationary position. Fold them back under to return to the rocking base.

Rotating Seat

The seat unit rotates 360° in both directions.

Care

Cleaning

SEAT PAD:
Use mild soap or upholstery shampoo.
Hand wash separately in cold water.
Do not bleach.
Do not soak.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not dry clean.
Dry flat in the shade thoroughly before reuse and avoid direct heat and sunlight.

ACTIVITY CENTRE:
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately with a soft clean cloth.
Do not use abrasive pads, bleach or strong household cleaners. Damage may result.

Maintenance
  • The correct use and maintenance of this activity centre is essential.
  • This product requires regular maintenance to keep it in good working order.
  • All assembly fittings are to be properly tightened. Inspect regularly. Do not use if any components are broken, torn or missing.
  • Use only spares provided by the manufacturer.
  • This product is not intended for commercial use.
Disposal

Electrical and electronic equipment should not be mixed with general household waste.
For proper treatment, recovery and recycling, please take this product to designated collection points. Please contact your local authority for further details of your nearest designated collection point.
Disposing of this product correctly will help save valuable resources and prevent any potential negative effects on human health and the environment, which could otherwise arise from inappropriate waste handling.
The cardboard and paper packaging from this product can be recycled.
