POWER ON (FIRST TIME USER)

Step 1: To switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On), simply open the lid of the charging case (when the earbuds are inside). Courtesy of our IWP™ (Insta Wake N’ Pair) technology, the earbuds power on automatically which is indicated by a steady white LED for 1 second.
Step 2: Both the earbuds automatically pair with each other and enter the Connection Mode. This is indicated by rapid white LED flashes on the master earbud and slowly breathing white LED on the slave earbud.

CONNECTION MODE:

Step 3: Turn on the Bluetooth functionality on your phone/media device and scan.
Step 4: Search for ‘Nirvana lon ANC and pair accordingly. Congratulations! Your earbuds are now connected successfully via Bluetooth indicated by the white LED quickly flashing twice on both the earbuds.

Note:

Pairing mode lasts for 5 minutes after which the earbuds turn off automatically.
If the pairing duration is missed, you will have to reconnect the earbuds and follow the steps again.
Nirvana lon ANC remembers previously connected devices; once switched on, the earbuds automatically reconnect to the previously connected devices within the working range.

SINGLE EARBUD USAGE (MONO MODE):

Step 1: Please note that both the earbuds can be used in Mono mode. Use Smart Power On option for switching on the desired earbud
Step 2: The selected earbud automatically enters the connection mode indicated by rapid white LED flashes. Step 3: Switch on the Bluetooth on your phone/media device and start scanning.
Step 4: Select ‘Nirvana Ion ANC from the list of devices. The earbud is now connected via Bluetooth.

Note:

To switch to Stereo mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.
Please note that you cannot activate ANC and Ambient modes during single earbud usage.
Wear detection features for calls and ANC are applicable only in Stereo Mode.

QUICK GUIDE ON FUNCTIONALITIES

4 Taps: Tap the right earbud’s touch control 4 times to activate voice assistant
3 Taps: Tap either the right or left earbud’s touch control 3 times to switch on/off BEAST™ mode
2 Seconds: Long touch the right earbud’s touch control for 2 seconds to activate ANC mode
2 Seconds: Long touch the left earbud’s touch control for 2 seconds to change EQ mode
10 Seconds: Long press the reset button on the case for up to 10 seconds for the factory reset

MULTIPOINT CONNECTIVITY:

Step 1: Switch on the Bluetooth on your first phone/media device and search for ‘Nirvana lon ANC. After the selection is done, the earbuds are paired with your phone/media device.
Step 2: Turn off the Bluetooth function of your first phone/media device. The earbuds are ready to be paired again.
Step 3: Now switch on the Bluetooth function on your second phone/media device. Scan and select ‘Nirvana lon ANC’ to connect.
Step 4: Switch on the Bluetooth of the first phone/media device again. The earbuds are now reconnected to the first phone/media device.
Congratulations! Your earbuds are now connected to both your devices successfully via Bluetooth.

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Voice Assistant: Tap the right earbud’s touch control 4 times to activate default voice assistant.
Answer Calls: Put on both the earbuds to answer an incoming call.
OR
Single tap either earbud’s CTC to accept incoming calls.
Reject/ Hang Up Calls: Double tap the CTC on either earbud to reject an incoming call or end an ongoing call
Play/Pause Music: Put on the earbuds to play a song, whereas removing them from your ears pauses the song. The In-Ear detection feature triggers a seamless play or pause.

OR
Single tap either earbud’s CTC to play or pause music.

Next Track: When playing music, double tap the right earbud’s CTC to sk to. the next song,
Previous Track: When playing music, double tap the left sarbud’s CTC to Feturm to the previous song.

Note:

Taking out both the earbuds during an ongoing call will automatically transfer the call to your phone.
Volume can be controlled only via the phone/media device.

CHARGING THE EARBUDS:

Step 1: To charge the earbuds, please place them inside the charging case in the correct orientation and close the lid.
Step 2: Once the earbuds are fully charged, the charging case automatically switches off to save power.

LED INDICATORS:

Note:

When the earbud battery level drops below 20%, a ‘Battery Low’ prompt gets triggered and the red LED quickly flashes 3 times.
Before using the earbuds for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge them. Also, please keep the lid of the charging case closed while charging.
Please note that the earbuds cannot be switched on while charging.

CHARGING THE CASE:

Step: To charge the case, plug one end of the provided USB Type-C cable into the case and connect the other end to a wall adapter, power bank, etc.

Case Remaining Battery: LED Status
< 29%: Red LED flashes 3 times
30%-70%: White LED flashes 3 times
> 70%: Green LED flashes 3 times
Fully Charged: Solid green LED for 5 seconds

VOICE ASSISTANT:

Step 1: Tap the right earbud CTC for 4 times to activate the smart voice assistant.
Step 2: The respective voice assistant screen pops up and you can speak your commands easily.

Note: If the voice assistant is not triggered, then the functionality needs to be first enabled via your media device settings.

AMBIENT, ANC, AND NORMAL (ANC OFF) MODES:

Long press the CTC on the right earbud for 2 seconds to toggle between Ambient, ANC and Normal (ANC Off) modes. Ambient mode is for transparency towards the audible surroundings, while ANC mode cancels out the external noise up to 32 dB so that you can immerse fully in your playlists.

Note:

By default, the Ambient Mode remains active.
The cycle of operation is Ambient Mode (Default) -> ANC Mode -> Normal (ANC Off) Mode
Your earbuds will remember the mode you last used & will enable the respective noise cancellation mode when they are powered on next time.

DUAL EQ MODES WITH CRYSTAL BIONIC SOUND:

Nirvana Ion ANC comes equipped with Crystal Bionic Sound powered by HiFi DSP that stays activated by default. You can choose either of the two EQ modes, i.e., Bass mode for bass-heavy sound or Balanced Mode for a more balanced auditory experience. Simply long touch the left earbud’s touch control for 2 seconds to change the EQ mode.

BEAST MODE:

Tap 3 times on either the right or left earbud CTC to switch to Low Latency gaming mode, also known as the BEAST™ Mode. Once switched on, it gets notified via a sound prompt. Tap 3 times once again on either the right or left earbud CTC, to turn it off and return to standard Music Mode.

Made for the Gamers By Gamers, BEAST™ Mode reduces the latency significantly and improves the overall gaming experience.

ENX™ TECH:

Our ENx™ tech algorithm cancels out the background noise so that you can be heard crystal clear on voice calls. You don’t have to activate ENx as the 4x mics are equipped with the same and activated by default.

SMART POWER OFF:

Step 1: After usage, remove both earbuds from your ears.
Step 2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in the correct orientation and close the lid.
Step 3: The earbuds automatically switch off and enter charging mode.

FACTORY RESET:

Perform the factory reset in case you face difficulties while operating your earbuds.
NOTE: Before performing the reset, please clear “Nirvana lon ANC” from the pairing device history by forgetting the device.
Step 1: Open the lid of the charging case and place the earbuds within the case in the correct orientation.
Step 2: While the earbuds are inside the case, long press the Reset button located outside the case for 10 seconds, until the white LED flashes 5 times on the earbuds as well as the case.
Step 3: Close the case lid and wait for 5 seconds.
Step 4: Take out the earbuds from the charging case and perform a fresh connection.
Congratulations! Your Nirvana lon ANC has been reset.

SAFETY CAUTION:

Please follow the instructions to operate the earbuds smoothly.
Please don’t use the earbuds in extreme temperatures.
Please don’t use the product in water.
Please keep the product away from heat sources, as the heat may damage it.
Please don’t jam the ports, such as the charger port, LED port, etc.
It is recommended to utilize the product below the maximum volume to protect your hearing and extend the service life of the earbuds.

RECOMMENDATION:

The earbuds may start at 100% volume level when first switched on. You can adjust the volume to your preferred level.
