ARQ BATTERY BANK CHARGING CASE
BATTERY BANK CHARGING CASE
CHARGING the CARRYING CASE
To charge the Arg Battery Bank Charging Case use the included Micro USB to USB
charging cord. Connect the Micro USB (smaller side) to the Battery Bank
Charging Case and connect the USB side to the computer or USB wall charger
(not included).
BATTERY STATUS
To see the battery status of the Battery Bank Charging case, use a short press
on the button inside of the carrying case lid. Blue LEDs on the front left
side of the case will light up for a few seconds. tach LED represents about ¼
of the total battery capacity. 4 lights indicate a full charge.
CHARGING THE ARQ EARBUDS
Delicately place the Arq earbuds into the earbud charging nests. Make sure
each earbud is placed in its corresponding nest. The cushions on the earbud
will face down. A small magnetic pull will help the earbuds fall into the
correct position. The earbuds will only charge if the Battery Bank Charging
Case is turned on. Follow instructions on how to turn on and off the Charging
Case. The Arq earbuds will show a red LED when charging. LEDs will turn off
when Arq earbuds are fully charged.
CHARGING EXTERNAL DEVICES WITH CHARGING CASE
- External devices like phones or other small electronics that can charge via USB can be plugged into the USB port (large port). Using the device’s charging cord, plug into the bottom USB port on the charging case and turn on the charging case (using a long press of the centre button on the case). The Charging Case will charge both the external device and the earbuds at the same time if both are connected.
- When you are done charging your external device remember to turn off the charging case to preserve battery life.
TURNING ON THE CHARGING CASE
- Turn on the charging case to charge the Arq earbuds or charge external devices. Use a long press on the centre button for a few seconds. The LED battery status lights on the charging case will turn blue indicating the Charging Case is now on.
- Remember to conserve the battery, and turn off the charging case by using a long press on the centre button of the charging case.
- The battery case will shut down automatically if the Arq earbuds both reach full charge. However, the battery case will stay on if it detects an external device connected via USB.
- If the Arq earbuds are removed before they are fully charged the charging case will need to be shut off using a long press on the centre button.
FIRST TIME USE
For DUAL EARBUD MODE
(If you want to use a single earbud, please refer to the section “Single
Earbud Use” on Page 8)
- Make sure the Arq earbuds are charged (Please refer to section “Charging the Arq Earbuds” on page 2) and the Bluetooth device (phone, computer, tablet etc.) is turned on with the Bluetooth feature enabled (this is usually found in settings).
- Turn on the Arq earbuds by holding down the centre buttons on both earbuds at the same time. Both earbud LEDs will flash blue and announce “Power On”.
- Both earbuds will pair together; both will beep and announce “Connected”. The left earbud will announce “Left Channel” and then the right earbud will announce “Right Channel”, indicating they are now connected.
- The left earbud will then beep and announce “Pairing” while its LED is flashing Red/Blue. This means your earbuds are now searching for your device to pair with.
- The right earbud will have a solid blue LED during the pairing process.
- Your device will detect the Arq’s pairing name “Wicked Arq”. Select “Wicked Ara” on your device to start pairing to your device.
- Once selected and paired, the left earbud will beep and announce “Second Device Connected”. When paired successfully to your device, both earbuds will have a solid blue LED.
- You’re ready to go!
FUTURE USE AFTER INITIAL PAIRING THE ARQ TO YOUR DEVICE
(If this is the first time the Arq earbuds are being paired with your
- Bluetooth device, or if the Arq earbuds were “forgotten”, please see the “First Time Use” section on.)
- If you to use single earbuds, please refer to the section “Single
- Turn on the Arq earbuds by holding down the centre buttons on both earbuds at the same time. Both earbud LEDs will flash blue and announce “Power On”.
- Both earbuds will pair together; both will beep and announce “Connected”. The left earbud will announce “Left Channel” and then the right earbud will announce “Right Channel”, indicating they are now connected.
- The left earbud will then beep and announce “Pairing” while its LED is flashing Red/Blue. This means your earbuds are now searching for your device to pair with.
- The right earbud will have a solid blue LED during the pairing process.
- Your phone will recognize the pairing name “Wicked Arq” instructions inale the First Time Use section on the

- Once successfully paired with your phone or device, the left earbud will beep and announce “Pairing Successful” followed by “Second Device Connected”. When paired successfully to your device, both earbuds will have a solid blue LED.
- You’re ready to go!
TURNING ON EARBUDS
Hold down the centre button on the desired earbuds) you intend to use until
there is a beep and the LED(s) flash(es) blue. (For pairing instructions,
please see “First Time Use” on page 4.)
TURNING OFF EARBUDS
- Hold down the centre button on either the left or right earbud until the earbuds beep and announce “Power Off” and the
- LEDs flash red. (Please note when using BOTH earbuds, you only need to hold down ONE centre button to turn both earbuds off.)
DISCONNECTED
- When out of range, or if your device becomes disconnected from the Arq earbuds, the left earbud will beep and announce “Disconnected” followed by “Pairing”.
- The Arq earbuds will automatically go into pairing mode with the left earbud’s LED flashing Red/Blue while the right earbud’s LED will stay solid Blue (if you are in dual earbud mode).
PAUSE/PLAY
When both earbuds are paired to your device you can pause and play your music
by using a short press on the center button with either the left or right
earbud. (Please note when using BOTH earbuds, you can perform this function
using EITHER earbud.)
NEXT TRACK
Using either the left or right earbud you can skip to the next track by using
2 short presses (double presses) on the centre button.
ANSWER/HANGUP
When both earbuds are connected, answer or hang up by using a short press on
the centre button on the LEFT earbud. Please note when only using ONE earbud
in single earbud mode, that earbud can perform all functions)
INCOMING CALL
- When receiving an incoming call, the earbuds will detect the device’s programmed ringtone (this may differ depending on your device) as well as announce “Incoming
- Call From ###-###-####”.
- You can answer by using a short press on the centre button on the LEFT earbud.
- You can reject the phone call by using 2 short presses (double presses) on the centre button on the LEFT earbud.
- The left earbud will beep and announce “Call Rejected”.
- You can hang up a call by using a short press on the centre button on the LEFT earbud.
LOW BATTERIES
- When using BOTH earbuds together, the left earbud acts as the communicator to your Bluetooth device. Because of this, the left earbud will likely drain its battery quicker than the right.
- Please consider changing your Arq earbuds regularly when not in use to retain ample battery life in both earbuds.
- If you lose battery life in the left earbud while using both earbuds, the left earbud will double beep and announce “Low
- Battery, Please Charge”. After a couple of minutes, the earbud will repeat the announcement and then shut off.
- At this point, you can shut off the right earbud and charge both earbuds or choose to use the right earbud for an additional 45 minutes in single earbud mode.
- The right earbud will take over as the communicator with your device once the left earbud runs out of battery. The LED will flash Red/Blue, indicating it is in pairing mode. Please follow the instructions in the section “First Time Use- For Single Earbud Use” below. Please note that when pairing the RIGHT earbud to your device (using a single earbud), you will notice that “Wicked Ara” shows up a second time in your pairing name options. Please pair with the newest “Wicked Arq” option as this will be directly connected to the RIGHT earbud.
FIRST-TIME USE- FOR SINGLE EARBUD USE
- Determine if you are using the left or the right earbud.
- Make sure the Arg earbud is charged and your device is turned on with the Bluetooth feature enabled.
- Turn on the Arq earbud by holding down the centre button. The earbud LED will flash blue and announce “Power On”. The LED will then flash Red/Blue indicating it is in pairing mode.
- Your phone or device will detect the ARQ’s pairing name “Wicked Ara”. Select “Wicked Ard” on your device to start pairing them together.
- Once selected and paired, the earbud will beep and announce “Pairing Successful” followed by another beep and announcement “Connected” indicating your device has successfully paired with the Arq. When paired successfully to your device, the earbud will have a solid blue LED.
- You’re ready to go! Please note when using ONE earbud either earbud can perform all functions. (See previous sections)
