Description
The F61 Series Adaptor Plate Assembly is designed for mounting a
1C20/1C21/1C26 series thermostat to the wall or to a junction box. It includes
an adaptor plate that allows for vertical mounting and a wall cover plate to
conceal any wall damage, junction boxes, or old thermostat markings.
Precautions
Before installing or operating this control, please read and follow all
instructions carefully to prevent personal injury and/or property damage. Make
sure to disconnect the electrical power at the main fuse or circuit breaker
until installation is complete to avoid electrical shock and/or equipment
damage.
Installation Instructions
Mounting 1C20/1C21 Thermostat to Vertical Junction Box
- Locate and drill one clearance hole in the wall.
- Attach the Junction Box Adaptor Plate to the vertical junction box.
- Attach the 1C20/1C21 Thermostat Base to the Adaptor Plate.
- Attach the F61-2499 Wall Plate to the Thermostat Base.
Mounting 1C26 Thermostat to Vertical Junction Box
- Locate and drill one clearance hole in the wall.
- Attach the Junction Box Adaptor Plate to the vertical junction box.
- Attach the 1C26 Thermostat Base to the Adaptor Plate.
- Attach the Subbase to the Thermostat Base.
- Attach the F61-2499 Wall Plate to the Subbase.
Mounting 1C20/1C21 Thermostat to Wall
- Attach the 1C20/1C21 Thermostat Base directly to the wall using the pointed screws supplied with the thermostat.
- Attach the F61-2499 Wall Plate to the Thermostat Base.
Mounting 1C26 Thermostat to Wall
- Attach the 1C26 Thermostat Base directly to the wall using the pointed screws supplied with the thermostat.
- Attach the Subbase to the Thermostat Base.
- Attach the F61-2499 Wall Plate to the Subbase.

DESCRIPTION
This adaptor plate assembly is designed for mounting a 1C20/1C21/1C26 series
thermostat to the wall or to a junction box. The wall cover plate covers the
junction box, wall damage, or old thermostat markings. The adaptor plate is
designed to allow vertical thermostat mounting on a vertical junction box.
All kits may not have adaptor plates or all screws shown.

CAUTION
To prevent electrical shock and/or equipment damage, disconnect electrical
power at main fuse or circuit breaker until installation is complete.
NOTE
This instruction sheet is not intended as a wiring guide. Refer to the
thermostat installation instructions to ensure proper wiring.
