Safety instructions / Maintenance

ATTENTION: First read the entire manual before you install and use the devices!
To ensure optimum safety, you must check the devce for damage and wear senstive parts on a regular basis. You must also follow the instructions below

  • As the owner of the device, you are responsible for provding each user wth clear safety instructions as described below.
  • The device must be used by a maxmum of 1 person at the same time.
  • Check the construction, screws, bots, and connections before using the machine for the first time, and then you must check it on a regular basis.
  • Check if all parts are properly connected and properly secured before using the machine.
  • Incorrect or excessive training can result in health damage. Before you start training, consut your doctor about whether your health permits training with this device. The doctor’s advce serves as the basis for the development of your training program.
  • Before you begin your exercse, ensure that all sharp parts are removed around the machine.
  • In case of regular use, we recommend to check all parts and fastenng parts every 1 to 2 months, especialy the screws and bolts. In order to maintan the structural safety level of the device, damaged parts must be repaced immediately.
  • The device is designed for use by adults. If you still allow children to use the device, remind them to use it correctly and monitor them at all tmes. If you allow chidren to use the device, always consider their mental and physical abities.
  • The device is under no circumstances suitable as a toy. Remember that due to the natural need to pay, the temperament of children in handling this device may respectively nvolve unforeseen situations and dangers that are not the responsibility of the manufacturer.
  • Ensure sufficient space around the device during the installation and during use.
  • Make sure that the machne is stable and horizontal at all times. Use a smooth subfloor for the placement of the machine.
  • Always wear appropriate clothing during training. The clothing shoud be designed so that it can not get stuck between the machine. Also ensure proper shoes with a good anti-sp footbed. This also minimizes wear and increases safety.
  • The device must be protected against humid conditions at all times.
  • To protect your floor from pressure points, always use a mat.
  • Keep body parts away from movable parts of the device during use.
  • If you have adjusted the adjustable parts, make sure they are properly attached before using the machne.
  • Never make your own adjustments to the device.
  • Never start an exercise directly after consuming a meal.
  • Always take a good position on the device before starting the training.
  • Stop the training session mmedately if you suffer from any of the following symptoms: dizziness or nausea, chest pain or other physical symptoms and contact your doctor.
  • This product contans small parts that can be easiy swallowed by children. Therefore, keep children away of the area during the assembly of the product.
  • ATTENTION: the heart beat measurement of the product can specify an inaccurate value. Excessive training can have serious consequences, stop immedately if you feel dzzy or weak and consult a doctor.
  • The manufacturer can not be hed liable for damage through inefficient use of the product.
  • Adust the device in such a way that it meets a comfortabe traning position and that it does not unnecessarily burden the body.
  • Do not use the device with exceptional forces for which such a device s not designed for.
  • If the device has a power cable, the socket must always be earthed. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced in order to prevent danger.
  • In case of a defect, always contact the supplier.
  • Crosstrainer: getting on and off should be done with one foot following the other foot, and should not be done at the same time. Reduce speed at the same tme to prevent injuries.
  • Treadmill: a diagonal stripe runs across the running mat. This is not a defect, this is the weld seam with which the running mat is fxed. Without a ‘safety key’ the treadmill does not work, make sure that it is always attached to the clothing in case of an emergency.
  • Spnning bke: many spinnng bikes use a pedal system. Therefore, brake evenly or use the brake.
  • ATTENTION: Proper maintenance of your device is crucial to optimize the lifespan.
  • To avoid an electric shock, before every cleaning or servce / repair, ensure that the device is switched off and the power cable is unplugged.
  • Never clean the device with strong or corrosive detergents to avoid damage to the dsplay. Use a damp cloth when cleanng. Do not place the device in cear sunlight.
  • Wipe the display and all other surfaces of the device with a clean, sghtly damp cloth to remove all sweat residues.
  • Place a mat to protect the device against dirt and wear during the installation. Vacuum once a week under the training device.
  • Cean your device after the training session to prevent sweat acids from absorbing the device. Make sure that the floor on whch the device is located on is dust-free.
  • Check all parts of the device regularly and also tighten the screws regularly. Also pay attenton to fatigue resistance and repace the defectve parts immediately.
  • Lubricate all rotating parts every 2 to 3 months with a maintenance spray and check regularly if the screws are tight.
  • If the device has a ‘rails’, make sure that it remains well lubricated.
  • Treadmill:
  • If the treadmi slips, it must be tightened. Insta the treadmil on 6 km/h and turn cockwise at both ends of the treadmill.
  • If the running mat is crooked, turn the eft or right end to straghten t again.
  • Lubricating the treadmill should be done by spraying the silicone oil under the running mat and then you must install the treadmil at 1 km / h for 3 minutes.
  • Disassemble the bonnet to periodically remove the dust.

Assembly

STEP 1
Attach Front Stabilizer – Position the front stabilizer as shown. Attach the front stabilizer (54) to the frame using the wrench (86) with two M8 bolts (80), two M8 flat washers (82), and two M8 nuts (81). One at a time place a bolt through the stabilizer from the bottom side. Place a flat washer onto bolt. Then screw a nut onto the same bolt and tighten. Repeat for the other Stabilizer hole. Finally, check to see the bolts are both tightened securely. Attach Rear Stabilizer – Position the rear stabilizer as shown.
Attach the front stabilizer (79) to the frame using the wrench (86) with two M8 bolts (80), two M8 flat washers (82), and two M8 nuts (81). One at a time place a bolt through the stabilizer from the bottom side. Place a flat washer onto bolt. Then screw a nut onto the same bolt and tighten. Repeat for the other Stabilizer hole. Attach Right Pedal – Identify the Right pedal (57). Using your fingers, slowly turn the right pedal about halfway onto the Right crank arm. Then, use the wrench (86) to fully tighten the right pedal to the right crank.
Attach Left Pedal – Identify the Left pedal (57). Using your fingers, slowly turn the Left pedal about halfway onto the Left crank arm. Then, use the wrench (86) to fully tighten the left pedal to the left crank.   FIT

Secure Handlebar Post – Slide the Handlebar Post (12) down into the mainframe of the equipment as shown. Tighten the mainframe knob to secure the handlebar post. Secure Handlebars – Slide the Handlebars (5) onto the Handlebar Post (12). Install Adjustment Knob (6) by screwing it into the handlebars (5) from the bottom. Using a hex wrench (85) and M6 screw (7) tighten to insure the handlebars are secure. Loosen when adjusting the fore / aft position. Handlebar Fore/Aft Adjustment – To adjust Handlebar forward position, loosen the knob on the Handlebar Post (7). Slide the Handlebars (5) to desired position. Tighten knob to secure.
Handlebar Height Adjustment – To adjust Handlebar height, loosen the knob on the mainframe handlebar post. Move the Handlebar Post (12) to desired position. Tighten knob to secure.FIT BIKE Race 2.4 Indoor Cycle - Assembly
2 STEP 4
Secure Seat Post – Identify Seat (13) and Seat Post (17). Remove seat height adjustment knob on mainframe.  Slide the Seat Post (17) down into the mainframe of the equipment as shown. Tighten the seat heightadjustment knob to secure the seat post. This knob is used to adjust seat height. Secure Seat – Slide the Seat onto the Seat Post. Tighten the 2x Bolts of the Seat’s clamp using the Wrench (86) to the Seat Post. Be sure the Seat is secure before using. Seat Height Adjustment – To adjust Seat height, loosen the knob on the mainframe seat post. Move the Seat Post to desired position. Tighten knob to secure.
Seat Fore/Aft Adjustment – To adjust Seat forward position, loosen the knob on the Seat Post (17). Slide the Seat Post to desired position. Tighten knob to secure. FIT BIKE Race 2.4 Indoor Cycle - Assembly
3STEP 5
Slide the Console onto the Handlebar bracket until it clips into place. Connect the Console cable (88) to the Bike cable. Identify the Bottle Rack (31), and 2x M5 Bolts (32). Using the hex wrench attach the Bottle Rack to the front right side of the Mainframe with the two bolts. General usage:

  1. With the push button you can navigate through the different information displays.
    Each function value is scanned and displayed in sequence, with a time interval of 6 seconds, and the display sequence is: RPM → SPEED → TIME → DISTANCE → CALORIES

  2. Press and hold the push button to do an entire RESET.

– This display offers the possibility to pair with a smartphone/tablet so that training can be done with an application. View: www.betersport.nl/fitness- apps
– If the device is not used for four minutes, the sleep mode will be activated.
– Please insert two AA batteries before use.
