Product Usage Instructions

Installation

Operation

Installation Guide

Ceiling Mount

  1. Loose the screws and rotate the base to the position of the arrow and remove it from the tail line.
  2. Mark the position of the screw holes with a pen to determine the position of the mounting screw holes on the ceiling.
  3. Drill the holes in the determined position and drive the expansion screw into it.
  4. Insert the base into the tail line and lift it with the camera, then insert the screw into the expansion screw.
  5. Place the three rounds at the bottom of the PTZ camera at 1,2,3 and then turn left to the far left.

Wall Mount

  1. Place the camera in a fixed position first, and mark the screw hole with a marker, use a tool such as a drill to drill holes in the marked screw holes.
  2. After screwing the hole, insert the plastic expansion bolt into the screw hole.
  3. Loosen the 3 screws used to fix the camera.
  4. Align the screw hole on the bottom of the camera bracket with the hole on the wall screw in the screw to fix the camera bracket.
  5. Tighten the 3 screws used to fix the camera, the installation is completed.

Camera APP Download and Installation

  1. Scan the QR code to download “Videolink” APP. IOS/ Android
  2. Apple Store/ Google Store type “Videolink” and search.
  3. Sign up for an Account.
    Sign up an APP account by using a email address.

WiFi Connection

Note: Only Wi-Fi-connected surveillance cameras are supported.

  1. When connecting for the first time, whether it is a WiFi connection or a PoE connection, the mobile phone needs to connect to the Local router WIFI.
  2. Make sure that the mobile phone and the camera are in the same local router WIFI network, so that the mobile phone can connect to the camera.
  3. The WIFI camera only supports a 2.4G network.
  4. In order to have a more stable network environment, please configure the camera within 5 meters of the router.
  5. When making a wifi connection, please make sure that no ethernet cable is connected to the camera’s LAN port. If it is already connected, disconnect it and press the reset button for 5 seconds to restore the camera to the factory settings. After switching on the power, please wait for 10-15 seconds before making a WiFi connection.
  6. Click the “Videolink” APP.
  7. Click on ( ADD NEW> Wi-Fi > “Connect to the local router’s WiFi” >NEXT> I’ve heard the prompt).
  8. Camera scanning QR code or acoustic connection. A “Di” sound on your phone indicates that the camera has successfully connected to your wireless router via WIFI. If your camera does not have a microphone, sonic code matching cannot be completed, but you can also add a camera after aligning the QR code on your phone screen with the camera lens.
  9. After the QR code is successfully scanned, a “beep” sound will be issued, and the camera will start to configure the network.
  10. After the network configuration is completed, the connection is complete.

Note: Sound wave connection: when the QR code appears, there is no need to point the QR code at the camera, just turn on the speaker of the phone to half the volume, put the phone next to the camera, and wait for the camera to automatically connect. If the sound wave connection is unsuccessful, please reset the camera, and then use the camera to scan the QR code to add.

POE Connection / Network Connection

Note: Only for products that support POE/Network cable connection. And surveillance camera with a WiFi connection with a network interface, supports network cable connection.

  1. POE Connection: It is necessary to directly supply power and network to the camera through the network cable from the POE switch (not included in the package), and it does not need to be connected to the power supply to avoid burning the camera due to excessive voltage.
  2. Network Connection: Use a network cable to connect the router to the network port of the camera, and need to connect to the power supply so that the camera is in the LAN, but does not need a PoE switch to avoid excessive voltage and burn the camera.
  3. Make sure that the router connected to the camera and the WIFI connected to the mobile phone must be on the same LAN, otherwise, the connection will not be successful.
  4. Click the ”Videolink” APP.
  5. Click on ( ADD NEW> Wired connection > “Scan the QR code of the camera” >”BIND IT”)
  6. After bind the camera, the connection is successful.

One more connection way
If you can’t find the QR code on the camera, you can click “No QR code? Click here to add a device” to add a camera through LAN search, the app will automatically search for the camera and then click on the camera to finish adding it.

Notes on WiFi connectivity and POE connectivity
In the process of connecting the camera, if the connection is unsuccessful, please reset the camera and connect it again. It may still be unsuccessful in the process of connection, reset and connect several times in succession operation, because the movements will keep identifying and adding when analyzing the local network, in there will be an unsuccessful connection, please reset several times, and the camera will identify the network well and connect soon.

FAQ

Is the device not online?

The router disabled MAC address and IP address filtering If it is a dual-band router, it needs to use 2.4GWi-Fi and does not support 5GWi-Fi. Wi-Fi account password only contains numbers and letters, no horizontal characters and other special characters are allowed.

How to add the camera to the third party software

Please use the onvif protocol and modify the server port to 80

Unable to watch the playback video correctly

Synchronize the time zone in the app Check whether the status of the memory card is normal and try another memory card If still no help. Please contact our support email to get the new firmware
