Always use a drip loop. Any water damage will NOT be covered under warranty.

Place your aquarium tank to one side of a wall-mounted outlet to prevent water from dripping onto the outlet or plug. Use a drip loop for each cord connecting an aquarium fixture to an outlet.

A “drip-loop” is the part of the cord below the level of the outlet (or the connector of an extension cord), to prevent water from traveling along the cord and coming in contact with the outlet. If the outlet or plug gets wet, do not rush to unplug the cable.

Disconnect the fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to the product, then unplug and examine for the presence of water in the outlet.

Status Meanings and Actions
The controller will display an error code to ask you to take action in case of any issue.

Error Code Status Meaning Remedy
ER01 There is an abnormal electric current, or the controller has
failed. Check the power cord and connection. Replace a new controller.
ER02 The controller is overheating. Keep the controller away from high

temperatures.
ER03| The pump is running without water.| Place the pump into the water entirely.
ER04| The power cord is improper wiring, or the impeller got stuck.| Check the power cord connection. Clean the pump and impeller.
EROS| The input power voltage is too high or too low.| Make sure that the power voltage is 100-240V.

MAINTENANCE

To ensure the longevity of your pump, we recommend you clean it every 6 months or as necessary due to the harsh conditions of a saltwater aquarium and the resulting buildup of algae and other organic matter.
Open the impeller housing, and use a soft brush to clean the impeller and inside of its housing under running water. Soak calcium buildup parts in a mild acid solution such as vinegar. Do not use strong acids because they can damage the pump.
Assemble and set up the pump after cleaning.
