Doesn’t power on!
-
The voltage read by the controller is quite different from the actual voltage of the battery.
-
If two value has large different, please take photo like this picture, and send us for warranty.
Test Steps
(Troubleshooting 1/2/3
1. Check if battery’s connection is correct and reliable, make sure there is no polarity inversion, ” +””-“correct.
2. IF fuse/breaker between battery and controller is good.
3. Check if the battery volage is higher than 9V, If the battery voltage is lower than 8.5V, Charge battery to above 9V or change a new battery with voltage higher than 8.5V and contiune the test.(Controller cannot be powered on if battery voltage is lower than 9V)
Note:
IF multimeter read voltage the same with your battery ture voltage, controller still have these problem, please take photo like this image and email us with your order ID. (Warranty email: cindy@ysolartech.com ) -
Controller NO Charging when battery NOT FULLYCHARGED
Test Steps (Troubleshooting 5)
- Check if the connection is correct and reliable, make sure there is no polarity inversion, ” +””-“correct.
- IF fuse/breaker/Connector between PV and controller is good.
- Check if PV voltage is in the range VBat+2V< VPV < Range, Make sure your PV input voltage is under our recommend range, donnot exceed the max power and voltage.
- Check if your PV voltage higher than your battery’s volage. IF pv lower than battery voltage, it can’t charge.
Note:
If PV voltage/power, battery voltage is normal but controller still doesn’t
charge, please take photo like this image and email us with your order ID.
