EG 2PROBE BLUETOOTH THERMOMETER
USER MANUAL

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. CONNECT THE PROBE
    Locate the probe socket on the right side of the thermometer. Insert the probe connector plug into the socket, there are 2 sockets of the product.

  2. POWER ON
    Press the button for 2 seconds to turn on the thermometer.

  3. °C/°F TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
    Quick press the button twice to switch °C/°F

  4. When finished, press the button for 2 seconds to turn off the thermometer.

APP DOWNLOADING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. For Android phones, ensure your phone has Bluetooth and that Allow Location Services is turned on.
  2. Search for “Expert Grill” in the Apple Store for the iOS system.
  3. Search for “Expert Grill” in the Google Play Store for Android systems. 4. Ensure your device is compatible with iOS 7 or Android
  4. 3 or above and Bluetooth 4.0 and above.
  5. Open the Expert Grill App on your mobile device, and click “Expert Grill Thermometer” to connect.
  6. For detailed APP instructions & FAQs, please refer to the user manual and customer support from your mobile APP.

TEMPERATURE DISPLAY

  1. The screen displays the current temperature.
  2. When inserting the probe into the socket, the screen will read the current temperature accordingly.
  3. When no probe insertion, the screen will read — (Fig.1)
  4. Ultra-high temperature display “Hi”, blinking, and beeping. (Fig.2)
  5. Ultra-low temperature display “Lo”, blinking, and beeping. (Fig.2)
  6. When the probe is broken, will display “Err” and “FAULTY”.(Fig.3)

STATUS INDICATOR

The color of the battery status indicator tells you the status of the thermometer’s battery (Fig.4)

  1. White: fully charged.
  2. White flash: Charging in progress (when connected to charger)
  3. Red: Battery low

CHARGING FUNCTION

Recharge when the battery indicator is in red light, make sure the charging point are well connected, and insert the USB cable into a type-C port. Ensure the adaptor has a standard output of 5V. (Fig.5)

PROBE INSERTION

  1. Always use the thermometer with the probe tip fully inside the meat while cooking.
  2. The probe is very sensitive; direct contact with heat or flare-ups will damage the probe. Puncturing the bottom of the meat can result in inaccurate temperature readings and damage the thermometer. Always insert the probe sideways when possible.
  3. Use a smoker or kettle-style grill for best results.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

  1. If all probe’s temperatures are lower than 50°C (122°F) within 20min and no changes exceed 3°C (37.4°F), the thermometer will auto power-off if any probe temperature does not meet the conditions.
  2. The meat probe is intended for use as an oven or grill surface thermometer. It has an operational range between -29°C and 300°C (-20°F and 572°F). Exposing the probe tip to temperatures above 300°C could cause damage to the temperature sensor.
  3. Stainless steel meat probe and wire will become extremely hot during use. Remove probe from meat and allow to cool.
  4. Only use mild soap and hot water. Rinse thoroughly. Dry completely.
  5. DO NOT dispose of batteries in a fire. Batteries may explode or leak. Please dispose of batteries properly. Remove the batteries when not in use for an extended period of time. Batteries could leak causing corrosion.
