 How does Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge work?

Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge plugs into any power outlet near your Yale Smart Lock and uses your home's Wi-Fi and Internet connection to control your Yale Smart Lock. With Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge, you can unlock or lock your door for guests, check your lock's status and receive instant notifications from anywhere through the Yale Home App.

 Do I need to own a Yale Smart Lock to enjoy Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge?

Yes. Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge was designed to work with our Yale Home app compatible Smart Locks

 Can I add a Connect Bridge to a Lock after the lock is already set up?

Yes. Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge requires an active compatible Yale Smart Lock for initial setup. If you have been accessing your Yale Smart Lock via Bluetooth only and would like to access it from a remote location, you will need to add a Yale Wi-Fi Connect bridge.

 How many Yale Smart Locks can one Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge device control?

To optimise Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge's always-on connection, one Yale Connect is currently needed for each Yale Smart Lock.

 What types of Wi-Fi networks does Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge support?

Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge supports 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz) Wi-Fi networks.

 How Do I Access My Yale Lock Remotely

The Yale Home App will seamlessly connect over the best method available, choosing between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi automatically. Simply open the app and navigate to your lock screen and the Yale Home App will do the rest for you. The icon in the upper right of the lock screen indicates how you are currently connected to your lock.
