they are sold to you. Should you nevertheless experience problems with your
device, we sincerely regret this. In that case, we kindly request you to
contact our customer service. Our staff will gladly assist you.

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The war-ranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty. If your device breaks down within the 2-year warranty period, you can return the device together with your receipt to the shop where you pur- chased it. The guarantee on accessories and components that are liable to wear-and-tear is only 6 months.
The guarantee and responsibility of the supplier and manufacturer lapse automati-cally in the following cases:
- If the instructions in this manual have not been followed.
- In case of incorrect connection, e.g., electrical voltage that is too high.
- In case of incorrect, rough or abnormal use.
- In case of insufficient or incorrect maintenance.
- In case of repairs or alterations to the device by the consumer or non-autho-rised third parties.
- If the customer used parts or accessories that are not recommended or pro-vided by the supplier / manufacturer.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
To ensure safety, you must read this manual thor-oughly. This appliance is made for domestic use and should only be used according to the instructions described below.
- This device may be used by children from the age of 8 years and by persons with a physical sensory or mental limitations or lack of experience and knowl-edge if these persons are supervised have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe manner and that they also know the hazards involved in using the device.
- Children must not play with the appliance.
- Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance must not be done by children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
- Keep the appliance and cord out of the reach of chil-dren under the age of 8.
- If the electrical cord is damaged, it must replaced by the manufacturer, itsnafter-sales service or a similarly qualified person person in order to avoid any accident.
- Caution : the appliance must not be used with an external timer or remote control.

- All repairs other than the normal maintenance of the appliance must be performed by the manufacturer or its after sales service.
- Never immerse the appliance, electrical cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Keep children away from the electrical cord or appliance.
- Keep the cord away from sharp edges and hot parts or other heat sources.

- Do not tilt the device beyond 45°.
- Place the device at least 8cm away from other objects to ensure proper ventilation around the device.
- Do not turn the device on and off frequently in succession. Always leave at least a 5-minute interval in between to prevent damage to the compressor.
Caution : danger of fire / flammable materials. This device uses a flammable refrigerant (R600a). If the refrigerant leaks and is exposed to an external ignition source, there is a fire hazard.

CONTROL PANEL

- The indicator at the will start flashing when the plug is plugged in. The appliance is now on standby. Use the ON/OFF button to turn the appliance on. The indicator will then remain lit.
- If the red light stays on at the there is not enough water left in the water tank. Fill the water tank with water and press the ON/OFF button to restart the machine.
- If the light at flashes, the ice basket is full. The machine will stop working. Empty the ice basket. When there is no more ice at the level of the sensor, the machine will restart automatically.
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Before using for the first time, remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
- Before using the ice cube maker for the first time: wait 4 hours after you put the unit in place and leave the lid open for at least 2 hours. This will allow the refrigerant to settle.
- Place the ice cube maker on a flat and stable surface and make sure the vents are not blocked.
- Clean the appliance before first use. See section: «cleaning and maintenance».
USE
It is recommended to use spring water in this unit.
- Place the ice cube maker on a flat and stable surface and make sure the vents are not blocked.
- Open the lid and remove the ice basket from the appliance so that you can pour water into the water reservoir.
- Caution: The water level should not exceed the MAX indication. If the water does rise above the MAX indication, release some water from the water tank through the drainage opening at the bottom of the appliance.
- Put the basket back in the appliance and close the transparent lid.
- Plug in the power cord and press the ON/OFF button to turn the appliance on.
- The indicator light at lights up and the machine will now start making ice cubes automatically.
- During the first 3 cycles, the ice cubes may be smaller and more irregular in size.
- If the ice basket is full, remove the ice immediately.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
CLEANING VIA CLEAN FUNCTION
The built-in clean function is designed to rinse the appliance along the
inside. This is done by means of running water.
Please note: the clean function alone is not sufficient to completely clean the ice cube maker. A combination of the clean function followed by manual cleaning ensures that your appliance is optimally clean.
- Pour clean water into the water tank up to the MAX indication.
- Press the cleaning button The indicator light will begin to flash. After a few seconds, the clean function will kick in.
- The clean function will run water through the device 5 times to rinse it optimally.
- The clean function then stops automatically.
- Remove the rinsing water through the drainage opening.
MANUAL CLEANING
- Before cleaning, turn off the appliance and unplug it. Also remove all ice cubes.
- Clean the ice basket, water reservoir, water tray, cooling fingers and ice scoop regularly. Use a damp cloth with some mild detergent if necessary to clean the inside and outside of the appliance. Rinse thoroughly before using the appliance again.
- Drain all water from the appliance through the drainage hole at the bottom of the appliance.
- Do not use chemicals or products containing with acids, gasoline or oil.
- Do not use mechanical devices or other tools to speed up the freezing process.
- If the unit has not operated for a long time, the light might stay on. In this case, press the ON/OFF button to return the unit to its normal state.
- Change the water in the water reservoir at least once a day to guarantee clean ice. When you are not using the appliance, immediately drain the water from the water tank through the drainage opening, this is to prevent contamination and algae formation in stagnant water. Always use fresh water when you use the appliance again.
- If the operation of the unit has been interrupted by, for example, a shortage of water or a power outage, it will take 3 minutes for the unit to restart.
DESCALING
Descale the appliance regularly to prevent limescale build-up to keep the
appliance operating properly. To do this, use descaling agent for coffee
makers, for example, or 1/2 vinegar diluted with 1/2 water.
- Fill the water tank with the agent (do not exceed the maximum level) and turn on the appliance. Then press the clean function .
- The unit will now pump water through the entire unit. This cycle will repeat itself for 5 times.
- The device will automatically stop rinsing after this..
- Then fill the appliance with clean water and repeat the procedure again, until the smell of the dscaling agent is completely gone.

The device stops working.| The ice cream scoop is not in the correct position. Remove the ice from the ice scoop and press the power button. If the appliance still does not work after restarting,
please contact the after-sales service.
“Add water” indicator light illuminates.| • The water tank is empty? Fill the water tank with water.
• There is air in the pump. Restart the appliance with the on-off button.
• The water supply is blocked. Clean the filter at the bot-
tom of the water tank.
There are no indica- tor lights on.| • The unit is not receiving power. Check that the plug is plugged in.
• Check that the fuse is not broken.
The ice is too big and ice remnants stick to it.| • Ice residue from a previous cycle may have gotten into the water tray. Turn off the appliance, and remove the ice from the water tray.
• The water in the reservoir is too cold. The recommend-
ed temperature is between 8 and 25°C.
The unit goes through the cycle, but no ice comes out.| • The ambient temperature or water temperature is too high. Do not use the unit at temperatures above 32°C and fill the tank with cold water.
• The compressor or ventilation motor is broken. Con- tact the after- sales service.
• There is insufficient refrigerant in the unit. Contact the after- sales service.
The unit works, but the water gets hot.| Contact the after-sales service.
