How to Install Huion Drivers in Windows : HUION

If you have no idea how to install your Huion drivers on Windows properly, this article gives you step-by-step instructions to help guide you through the installation process.

Part 1. Precautions before driver installation

If a graphic tablet driver has been installed on your Windows computer, please uninstall it before installing the new one. Otherwise, conflicts will occur. After uninstalling the driver, please restart your computer.
Please turn off the anti-virus and close all drawing programs on your computer before installing the new driver.
Otherwise, you will be unsuccessful in installing the new driver.
Do not connect your graphic input device to the computer before the driver is installed.
Otherwise, you may encounter a delay or error in system identification when installing the driver.
It is strongly recommended not to change the default path when installing the driver and just click Install to continue.
Extract the driver installation program or unzip the file before running it. Next, Right-click the program, then click “Run as administrator” to install it with administrator rights.

Part 2. Guidelines to install Huion driver V15, V14, V13, and V12

Steps for installing the V15 driver

Download the latest version of your tablet driver from this link: https://huion.com/download/ (https://huion.com/download/) and extract or unzip the file. If you have issues with the latest version, download the 2nd latest one, and so on.
Double-click on the unzipped tablet driver and click “OK” to proceed. You can also right-click on it and click “Run as administrator.”
Click the checkbox to agree with the User Agreement and click “Install now”
After the installation has been completed, click on “Try it now”
Click “YES, SHARE DATA” or click “NO THANKS”. We recommend that you share your data to help us improve our products.
The driver will launch and will appear on your hidden icons in the lower right area of your screen or on the right side of your Taskbar. Click the Huion Tablet driver icon, and this will bring you to the driver panel that shows the device is disconnected.
Connect your tablet to your computer and wait for the driver to detect your tablet. Then, proceed to customize your tablet’s press keys (if applicable), pen buttons, and work area. You can then open your drawing or writing program that you have downloaded and installed from the internet.

Steps for installing the V14 driver

Visit Huion’s official website (www.huion.com/download (http://www.huion.com/download)) and download the necessary driver.To ensure that you access the corresponding driver, please type the complete name of your model. For example, if the full name of your graphic tablet is WH1409 V2, you should type WH1409 V2, instead of WH1409.
Unzip or extract the file downloaded from our official website. Then, double-click the unzipped or extracted exe file to launch the program.
Make sure you have closed all painting programs and turned off your antivirus before installing the driver, then click Yes for the next step.
Click Install to continue.
Click the “Completing the Setup Wizard” button.
Connect your graphic input device to the computer and the gray icon at the bottom-right corner of the desktop will turn to blue as you connect your device. “Device connected” will also be indicated on the driver interface, which means the driver has been successfully installed and has detected your tablet.
You can then open your drawing or writing program that you have downloaded and installed from the internet.

Steps for installing the V13 driver

Visit Huion’s official website (www.huion.com/download (http://www.huion.com/download)) and download the driver you need.
Unzip or extract the file downloaded from our official website. Then, double-click the unzipped or extracted exe file to launch the program.
Make sure you have closed all painting software and turned off your antivirus before installing the driver and click Yes for the next step.
Click the Next button when the following three prompts pop up.
Click the Install button to start installing the driver.
Click the Finish button to complete the installation.
Connect your graphic tablet or pen display to your computer via USB /VGA/HDMI/three-in-one cables. The gray icon at the bottom right corner of the desktop will then turn to blue and the Device connected will also be shown on the driver interface.

Steps for installing the V12 driver

Visit Huion’s official website(www.huion.com/download (http://www.huion.com/download)) and download the driver you need.
Unzip or extract the file downloaded from our official website. Then, double-click the unzipped or extracted exe file to launch the program.
Make sure you have closed all painting software and turned off your antivirus before installing the driver and click Yes for the next step.
Click the Next button when the following four prompts pop up.
Click the Install button to start installing the driver.
Click the Finish button to complete the installation.
Connect the graphic tablet to your computer via a USB cable and the icon at the bottom right corner of the computer will be replaced by the icon without the red “X”. Also, it will show “Device connected” on the driver interface as shown in the picture below:
You can then open your drawing or writing program that you have downloaded and installed from the internet.
